SOLID slice, 4 out 5. It’s well balanced from tip to crust and nothing about it is wrong. With that said, for me, it does fall slightly short of just the extra special something. However, there’s enough here to make go in intending to only eat one slice but then immediately returning for a second. This pizzeria deserves its popularity. I saw a guy eating a slice while sitting in what had to be a 70s Lincoln Town Car, so they have a loyal following. I ordered a regular plain slice first, enjoyed it thoroughly, and then returned to try “a square.” The square definitely has a better more buttery crust. I like that the pricing is fair $3 and they don’t charge extra for squares. I might not travel from Staten Island just to get their pizza, but I would definitely return if in the Brooklyn area.
THIS IS THE BEST PIZZERIA IVE EVER BEEN TOO. 10/10 Recommend. Anything and everything you eat here is the best, the quality in every ingredient, the portion size, the variety, etc. This place is a very inviting and welcoming atmosphere, and is wonderful for people with food allergies such a gluten intolerance and other allergies. They care for their customers, are very cleanly, and so much more. In the pictures are: potato croquettes, Sicilian slice, mozzarella sticks, and a grandma slice.
Late on the night of Sunday, December 18, 2022, my friends and I visited Bay Ridge Pizza after touring Christmas displays in Dyker Heights. Cold, hungry and in one case, unwell, Gaspar the owner and Christopher both welcomed us in for an exceptional meal and great experience. At Gaspar's suggestion, we tried the Grandmother Pizza which was nothing short of divine. He and Christopher made us feel like we were at home and had a great conversation with us late into the evening. We would highly recommend both the food and staff at Bay Ridge Pizza, and will definitely visit again! Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options are available. Parking: There is on street and side street parking available, in addition to a municipal parking lot across the street and adjacent to the site.
Hello everyone , wouldn't recommend this place so much. I ordered chicken parm with ziti. I asked for garlic knots instead of bread, but they suggested we can put the same sauce on the bread, with no charge that didn't happen. I ask to put a gd amount of cheese, that didn't happen. I asked for all condiments, that didn't happen. We really wanted salt and pepper hat didn't vhappen. Bread was rock hard, we don't want by o eat it especially with out the garlic sauce. The only thing that had cheese ND sauce was the chicken. They gave us no forks knives or plates or plastic plates, so we bought u them ourselves. My friends enjoyed there mushroom slices minus the pasta. They weren't even interested. There not really friendly, or genuine. I think there better for pizza. Pasta had no sauce cheese or flavor. The pasta dish was bland. I'm glad I asked for the extra condiments. Won't ever order pasta dishes to expensive and not enough of sauce flavor or cheese. Can't even eat the bread it's so brick hard. Be careful and take your chance. Take care and love u all
This place has really good dough in my opinion. I personally go elsewhere for other specially slices like vodka and grandmatheir “grandma” is not thin crust, i think they call it “grandma style pizza” but this place may have the best bread in town. They also have really fresh and tasty fried calamari, baked clams and my go to, their own bay ridge special pizza.
We were recommended their Grandma's pizza and it didn't disappoint. Our party agreed its the best pizza we've ever had. Too bad international borders prevent us from having this pizza weekly! Thanks for your hospitality!
The Crown Jewel of slices in Bay Ridge. The regular cheese slice was the BEST, most AUTHENTIC, taste of Brooklyn I've had. Their mesculin salad is my favorite salad from anywhere EVER. I can't get enough of it. Try the ravioli slice ravioli on top w/ vodka sauce. It sounds strange, but it's quite creative, interesting to actually eat, and delicious.
Best Lasagna I ever had. The guys there were just amazing and very friendly. The ambiance was lovely and the price was very good. If I come back to New York I'll definitely eat there again. Absolutely recommend
Ordered a large margherita pie and it WAS THE WORST PIE EVER. Whole pizza was covered in cheese and there was no sauce or basil leaves. We asked them about that and they said they ran out of basil. The worker gave me a clueless look when I said I would have went somewhere else if I knew they had no basil or sauce left. WASTE OF MONEY. WORST PIZZA I'VE EVER HAD
No one does authentic vegan pizza the way they make it. Medium pie.
