Plantation Swimming Pool

Do NOT use if you’re not on the swim team or paying for lessons. It’s suppose to be a “public” pool but it’s really for those who are in the groups listed above. Wasted $7 to be told I couldn’t used one of the pools because the swim team was going to use it (they didn’t come until an hour later so it probably was just discrimination.) On top of that the other pool was filled with people learning how to swim. The people at the front desk could have just told me it was not a good day to swim because the pool was full. Terrible customer service.

I agree with Osvaldo it sucks, I walked in and nobody told me any rules then I started to swim under the water and I was treated really bad, I'm never going back there again, so unprofessional

I visited the facility Saturday after working out there 3 times before I've never had any issues. The pool is very clean and the facility is fantastic. Unfortunately, on this visit I was told by a guard that I can not swim under water. I then adapted my workout to suit the requests of the guard and was holding my breath by one of the ladders the same guard came and told me I had to leave the pool. I asked where the rules stating this were printed and why they aren't made visible before paying the admission fees. I asked for a refund he told me no refunds and said if i didn't leave he'd call the police. When the Police arrived I was getting dressed. They called me out and asked to speak to me. While talking to her I was asked why I hadn't yet left. I told her I hadn't left because you questioning me. The police officer was very rude and I was not given the oportunity of expressing my self adequately because of a language barrier. I was harassed, and thrown out of the facility as if I were a third class citizen with no rights. I had a very bad experience and feel discriminated against. I wrote an email to Mark the pool supervisor, will let you know how it goes.

Best Olympic pool in broward county. They have lots of programs available for all ages, and even a day pass.
