This place is ok. I think the people are really helpful but they are definitely not for all plants, just certain varieties. I would recommend you call before you come to check the plants they have. That being said, their prices are reasonable and they are helpful and try and get you what you need, even if that's recommendations for another competitor.

Wonderful nursery, there were a few women walking around who could answer any question, they were incredibly helpful. The prices were reasonable and it was really nice to just walk around and enjoy all the beautiful trees and plants.

Plants of the SW has been my "go to" place for drought tolerant trees and perennials for over 10 years.  Our garden lives at 7100 feet 100 miles south of ABQ so I select plants accordingly.  I have found the manager and staff to be informative and cordial during my 3 or 4 annual trips.  I always try to save up to take advantage of the sale during the monsoon season!
