Positives: Staff were friendly and bathrooms were clean Negatives: Extremely long line to get into the bar, the music was way too loud, they don’t serve straws with their cocktails have to sip from dirty glasses, way too many people & just a younger, sloppier crowd in general. Have to wait in long lines for games as well.
My experience at Players Club was awful. The rooftop bartender ignored us, serving others before us. When I raised the issue, he was shockingly rude, forcing me to leave. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, and I won't be back.Food: 1/5
What an amazing fun & cool hangout! Downstairs you have the large open space for food, drinks & games. Head up the elevator and it quickly becomes a chill rooftop bar with great ambience & views. The line to get upstairs is a bit of an annoyance but if you plan on waiting…grab a drink. It could move quick or feel like you’re staring at molasses. They do not let you bring drinks upstairs or vise versa. Order your drink, sip and wait & enjoy the place! Unfortunately I wasn’t able to play any games while visiting but I do plan on returning & getting my mini game fill in. The crowd on a Saturday night is busy! Music & vibe was great overall.
We were SO excited to come here. The drinks were great. We would definitely had ordered more and stayed for hours if we weren't treated so rudely for putting a 20 into one of the games thinking we’d get change backsorry I don’t play games often? Maybe make it more modern with signage or game cards?. The managerI think treated us like we were the dumbest people ever for thinking so. His attitude and rudeness made us leave immediately. I will never go back!
This place is insane! It's a genuine playground for grown ups. It feels like a bar right out of Jackie Brown. Its a perfect mix of the cool, sleek, vibes of the early 70s and mixed it with just enough modern flare. Throw in some excellent arcade games and just enough novelty humor and you got yourself a great date night! If they ever want to franchise then Charlottesville VA would love to see them come our way! Great job everyone. Staff was super nice and the whole place was spotless.
Quaint little bar, nice atmosphere. 70s and 80s music and most everything there was first come first serve. The drinks were great, got a port city and a raised by wolves. The bathrooms were clean too!Food: 5/5
I love this place, although it gets super crowded on a Friday or Saturday night you don't feel bombarded. Tons of games & activities available. Hardest part is ordering drinks but it's not to bad didn't wait longer than 3 min which in a packed bar is quick. If you enjoy people watching its a great place lol. Definitely recommend for date nights, interactive yet chill atmosphere & the dj is good at music selection. Parking is hell due to the location.
I misplaced my wallet within the bar and have not been able to reach anyone about it for months now. Email is invalid/not in service and no one has answered the phone I have reached out over a dozen times. Love the establishment but needs better business strategies to enhance customer satisfaction
Similar to other reviews - my biggest complaint is with the bouncers here. The atmosphere is fun and drinks are reasonably priced, but my friends and I were in an unsafe situation with a group of men who were behaving aggressively towards us and the bouncers did not help diffuse the situation.Food: 2/5
Highly recommend this 70s themed bar for a post work drinks or a late night date. The vibes were immaculate and everyone was there to socialize and enjoy the atmosphere. The drink prices are also extremely reasonable and the staff was incredibly nice. Will definitely be back to show off this hidden gem.
