Nice little park for children to play at. We take our grandchildren there quite often. Sure the equipment needs to be replaced and alittle more up keep. The equipment is paid for thru taxes so the city can only replace and spend money when it is available. Many people do not know how much playground equipment costs so if they did some research they would see it cant be done all at once just in phases.
Remember the city has many parks so the money must be spread.

Very good place to bring children very open park so you can keep your eyes on multiple children some of the equipment is rusty last time I was there but they do upkeep on the equipment from time to time so just check to be sure. I still remember having alot of fun as a child here.

Equipment is old and run down, and some of it has been destroyed by people who think destroying public property is fun. Sadly, the city has just left it as is and hasn’t fixed it. Junction City has a severe lack of good pros for children. Go to Manhattan, the parks are much better.

The toys are starting to show their age. Also, there are a few different play areas that are spread across the park-- which is great for older kids, but difficult if you are bringing more than one small child.
