Playthings Toy Shoppe

I love Playthings! I will always pay more to buy from a local store if the alternative is a giant corporation but this local shop has great prices AND they gift wrap for free while you wait. What’s not to love? Although, perhaps they do promote procrastination because I seem to buy birthday party gifts on my way to parties and I show up on time with the perfect gift with cute wrapping paper too Oh and they’re also super nice, and that helps too.

I recently had a brand new beautiful baby girl at Norton's Hospital and headed over to play things to find them perfect gift for her to bring home to her big sister. The Staff was awesome they were knowledgeable about their products and helped me find them perfect gift. For icing on the cake they wrapped the gift for me at no additional charge. For me as a 31 year old adult it is awesome to find an actualt toy store i remember from my youth and the best part is that its is a small business. Highly recommend, may cost 10% more than Amazon but the nostalgia and the customer support is worth it!

So fun to walk through and explore their wide collection of toys, art supplies, and gadgets. Staff is very attentive and helpful with offering ideas for age-appropriate selections. Best of all, they gift wrap for free!

Such sweet staff - the girl working was ready and super willing to help me find gifts for the kids I babysit. Thank you for gift-wrapping, too, and saving me a trip to another store!! Reasonable prices - just look hard enough! I felt like a kid again.

Update*** 1 OCT 21 my favorite toy-store, Playthings, is fully stocked for Christmas. I just knocked out my Christmas shopping and they even wrapped in Christmas paper. I love this store. Love this toystore, great selection of classic and trendy toys. The gift-wrapping is beautiful and fun. Really appreciate the personal shopping and pickup while we practice social distancing! Posting 35 piece floor puzzle M&D. Update*** still my favorite toy store in town. They help me shop, great selection and free gift wrapping. So easy! And their toys are always a hit with my kiddos.

We love this toy store! My son found several items he's putting on his birthday list. They have a wide variety of toys, puzzles, board games, stuffed animals, diy kits, etc. They have free gift wrap too and the wrapping paper is awesome!

My grandchildren love coming to this store, they have the most exciting toys, interesting crafts, puzzles, and games. Great place to do your Christmas shopping. Staff is always so helpful in finding just the right gift. Highly recommend.

Clean and friendly! We brought our son to pick out toys. My husband and I saw childhood games and toys in the store! It brought back so many memories! Loved it!

To cute! My 7 year old loved it! Very personal and 100% kid friendly, perfect! Prices can be a little high but its high quality toys so its absolutely fair.
