Plaza Azteca Restaurant

Good Mexican food in an unpretentious setting. Every menu item we have ever tried here is delicious, non-greasy, and generous portion size. For true afficianados, the tres leches cake is amazing!

Boyfriend and I were excited to go to “plaza Azteca” however were extremely disappointed when we realized that this was NOT the chain. We stayed anyways to give them a chance. The salsa was gross, very watery. Our entrees were not flavorful at all and my boyfriend ordered a crunchy taco but when it arrived, THE SHELL WAS SOGGY! Neither of us could finish the food because it was so gross. Do not get jipped like we did. They need to have some kind of disclaimer about the name.

Loved Plaza Azteca in VA so when I found out there was one in MD I drove almost an hour just to eat there. I should have stayed home. I was told that this was independently owned and was nothing like the VA restaurant (they are both listed on the website). The food was not authentic and not that good and the waiter was not helpful. Maybe this location needs to be taken off the site so nobody else goes here.

It was very good. Large portions, taste fresh. Chili rellano was fried, had nice heat and lots of cheese. The guacamole was really good. Worth ordering. Try the guacamole taco. So good.
