Excellent spices with very fresh ingredients. I loved their new grilled chicken, service was friendly and fine over all but not very accurate with the orders. The place is clean and well maintained

See edit below*Hands down the best takeout chicken baked and fried I have ever had. All of the sides were fresh and tasty; customer service was awesome. We came to the restaurant near closing and were seated and assisted by super friendly staff. EDIT: I'd really enjoyed the food and service here up until today. Went to grab a grilled chicken sandwich meal. Received fries tossed into the bag, a dried out old chicken patty, two bottom buns with mold spots and no condiments on the sandwich. When I went into the store to ask for a refund I had to explain the reason for my request 3x. The inside of the store also did not look as clean as I'd observed on previous visits. Will not be back.

I was in Charlotte visiting a friend we decided to grab something to eat saw the parking lot was full so figured it must be good. The cashier was very short when we asked a question this being our first time here and all. Ordered and then sat down. Dining area was messy but that was understandable due to the amount of customers dining in. My friend's food came out shortly after us sitting down and was brought to the table. After about 5-7 minutes I went to the front to find my food on the counter getting cold. I took my food to the table and the workers seemed annoyed that I didn't want to wait for them to decide to bring me my food. The food was good the grilled chicken was my favorite with rice and beans. They forgot my cookies! All and all I would go back the food is worth it, just might get it to go.

First timer! My chicken nuggets and yucca fries were amazing!! I wish I would’ve bought more lol. The coleslaw was not what I’m used to a little too runny maybe too much mayo but the rest of the food was so good. I’ll definitely be back. The drive thru was super quick too!!

Drive-thru was closed so I had to dine in I have a special needs daughter and a special and a support animal when walking into the store the store was extremely dirty dishes and used food was everywhere. Was able to place my order and utilize my $10 coupon which was available to me on the app order 12 piece chicken with three sides came up to $31 and change lady in the front wa disrespectful and lacking customer service waited 20 minutes for my food once I realized everybody that was getting a food before me who came in after me went to the front they put my order as if I was taken out and not dining in explain that to them they changed the order into dining in french fries was extremely cold. Waste of time waste of money chicken is always good not worth the effort.

You can never go wrong with the food here. The chicken is so good and the sides are amazing. My kids love the food from this place!<b>Food</b>: 5/5

These Empanadas tho! They’re crispy and full of flavor. The outside shell isn’t your typical pastry shell. They’re light and fluffy, but thick enough to hold in the contents. Lost 1 star because drive through and parking lot needs some attention. Also, there’s a good amount of less fortunate people roaming the lot and approaching your vehicle. The place is on south Blvd, so it’s expected.

Empanadas was fresh and delicious very well made and true to it's authenticity I will be coming back! Sending a shout out to the cooks in the back! Yummy

I think that Pollo Compero has some of the best fried chicken anywhere! The breading is more like a tempura batter but a little heavier. I have eaten here several times and everything has always been delicious! The chicken is never too greasy and sides are righteous! I usually get the beans and rice as sides. Don’t forget that their baked chicken is very tasty too if you want something a little healthier. It has a distinct lime zest that’s quite wonderful! Cheers!
