Great campground and experience. There are great bathrooms and bike paths and lake access, plus lots of trail options. Some spots are more private than others, but there are lots of big trees.

Very beautiful and calm lake. Shallow water and shore.. good to swim when it is not cold season.

During the winter you can only go into the visitor center parking lot and one other parking lot less than 1/4 miles down the road. The trails were all groomed for skiing or snowshoeing. No walking on them or you could get a fine. We were able to enjoy the visitor center and walk around that area only. Beautiful view of the frozen lake.

The park is well maintained and clean. I marked it 4 stares due to the lack of actual hiking trails. It's all maintained road which would be great for hiking with the family, but a little disappointing for 1 or two adults looking to experience nature.

The park is beautiful, although it can become pretty crowded on holidays and weekends. But, I suppose, that's to be expected!
