I have drive past the sign for this place so many times and said I would stop. I did today. It was a really neat experience. Seeing the different artifacts they have. I recommend stopping in if your traveling through. Get of I 80 take 30 the old river road though the small towns. There is much more to Nebraska than flat cow pastures.

Great little leg stretching stop along I-80! The cabin was staffed with two very friendly and knowledgeable women who cheerfully shared information about the Pony Express. There is also a small gift shop in the cabin that has maps, books and trinkets. Really enjoyed the stop.

Very cool display. Small museum. Interpretive center. Friendly host. Unique gift shop. Pretty easy on / off to interstate. Well signed.

What a gem this little memorial is. It was even manned by a lovely woman who was full of interesting things to share. Well worth a visit.

Kids and I really enjoyed this on our trip. Free info. Great education on our history. Kids homeschool they said it was the best field trip ever. I really enjoyed it.
