“Could be better” Fancy freeway arch on the outside....ok museum inside. Interesting facts on pioneers going west/ great way to stretch legs-- but those facts would've been just as interesting at 1/2 the admission price. Displays are a little too generic and politically correct-- (committee designed?) -- enlivening and personalizing them with colorful local characters and historical legends would make it more memorable.

A little on the expensive side for the tour inside, but definitely worth at least a one-time visit. Museum is rich in history about the great plains and Midwest and has some pretty great exhibits. Flow of the museum feels solid and presentation on a lot of the exhibits are done in interesting, unique, exciting, and unexpected ways. Surrounding area is beautiful and great to walk around on a comfortable day. Found it a bit odd though they hardly had any souvenir items of the archway itself other than postcards in their store. At the very least, it's a great place to stop and stretch your legs and let your kids run around if you're travelling along the interstate.

Would have given 5 stars but 12 dollars a person was a bit much. Was a neat place with nice gift shop. Nice walking trail and a maze for the kids.

A good place to stop and stretch the legs. The museum will cost $12 per adult. So plan to spend some time if you come the museum.

Fun educational stop along I-80. The staff is friendly and the displays are very well maintained. This place is worth the stop.
