Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

I forgot how good the chicken is here! Super flaky crust. Piping hot! Savory gravy. They really need a hot sauce or a hot mustard though. Clean restaurant as well.

Great chicken and this Popeyes location serves it hot and crispy! Potatoes are also nice and hot. Spicy is delicious with great crispy crust. My only criticism is that they should clean the dining tables more often but clean table or not that is some dang good chicken.

One the best Popeyes. The stuff is fresh and clean. You can taste the difference. They have so many customers that the supply truck is always coming to refill them. The best thing is that you get Free refills on drinks which is cool. Even McDonald's don't have refills.

So many fried chicken places popping up, and yet most still fail to beat this Popeyes. I like how the kitchen is totally open so you can see what they're doing. Very clean, quick, and affordable.

One of the worst customer service chain at this particular location on Canal street. I know it to expect much but still other fast food chains are nicer. This girl was so mean and short tempered. I’ll never come back again.

What can you say about this particular Popeyes this one uses the same fake breading that tastes like waffle mix as the other nearby location on Lafayette spicy also taste like injected spice and not rubbed and seasoned like they were before franchising , customer service is a triple MEH please walk with your true wireless headphones,as almost anything that bothers these people they talk about in Chinese right to your face.if you speak the language and don't look like you do and want to avoid trouble stay out of Chinese or Indian operated Popeyes forever.they use discounted chicken,fake breading and very very poor customer service and a POWERFUL hint of predudice and racism.so sorry to see them fall from Grace in this city but I guarantee it won't happen in Louisiana .PS those pictures ate about all a starving person can eat before and after be very careful if you do decide to put your life in their hands.

The service was pretty fast, the people were nice. To be honest, they were pretty stingy with the ketchup but if you ask they will give you more. But the seating is pretty bad because there’s rarely any space.

Quality of the fried chicken is iffy. I ordered a box of 12 mixed pieces. Most are great, but I had one scary looking chicken wing where the outer crust was a nice light golden brown. But the actual chicken beneath that nice crunchy skin was purple-black. That doesn’t sound right. I threw it out, was afraid to toss it to my dog.

The tender box is decent. The mashed potato is a bit tasteless, but all the other components were delicious
