We bring over 1,000 music, theater, dance, and lecture performances to Portland each year because we know that art matters. Art brings joy, inspires the mind, and unites communities. Art changes lives.

As the 5th largest performing arts center in the U.S., we are national leaders in keeping art culture thriving. Our five venues draw over one million patrons to downtown Portland’s Cultural District and generate an average of $60 million in regional spending every year. With the help of Metro and the Metropolitan Exposition Recreation Commission, we are able to connect with the public to offer the performances that are most valuable to our community.

The Portland'5 Box Office (1111 SW Broadway at Main St.- inside Antoinette Hatfield Hall) is open for in person ticket sales Monday-Saturday, 10am-5pm and two hours prior to performances. Photo ID is required to pick up Will-Call tickets.

This theater and amazing! The combination vintage vibes, huge space, and old timey bar setup make sit a perfect place to visit for a night out. The staff were so accommodating and knowledgeable. They helped me find my seats and were very friendly. I saw the last NatGeo Live there and had a great time. They have bars in the first couple levels that you can get food or cocktails at while waiting for your show. And the chairs in the actual theater were very comfortable. This location was within walking distance from popular hotels in Portland but you can easily Uber there if needed. The whole experience was fun and I would do it again. Great for adults and kids.
We went to see The Lion King, and it was amazing. I highly recommend it. I brought my daughter, who is 5 years old. She sat through the whole thing. Prior to seeing it, we saw the Lion King movies and read the book. They provide booster seats, too, just ask.
The outdoor part of the concert hall is a chill spot for events and gatherings. Great spot for local artist to showcase and get exposure!
I’m a volunteer usher for over 30 years. I love being a part of the Portland 5 family. It’s a pleasure to greet the guest and see them enjoy all of the wonderful and talented performers. Buy a ticket and see a performance or check out the volunteer options.
Very nice, well thought out theater complex. We went to the Delores Winningstad theater. Very nice intimate theater. Very nice lobby. Parking can be an issue.
Saw Jimmy Carr, which was a great experience. I wish they had more concession choices. But, regardless they good selection.
The Music on Main Street summer concert series are the best!! The street is closed for two glorious hours while you eat, drink, and dance to some terrific local music. I highly recommend.
Beautiful theater not a lot of leg room so if your tall get an end seat or very front row for your long legs front row is fine you do not have to look up like if you were in a movie theater which was nice bathroom was clean ran out of paper towels a few times for the day but staff was prompt at fixing the issue staff was friendly and helpful both inside and out weekend parking was better than friday parking
Went on a school field trip here and the place is enormous. I didn't know this existed here and it's a gorgeous place. We were assigned to the 3rd level balcony and it was really great seats. You can see the faces and their expressions of the performers. I would visit again, and my son and his class had an amazing time. The staff was friendly, kind, and patient with all the schools visiting at the same time. Thank you for a great experience!
Had a really good time at the C S Lewus one man show. Parking can be challenging.
