I have used Portland Sports Medicine for several months now. Really nice folks. Susie at the front desk is a real charmer. I cannot begin to tell you how much pain I was in when I first started to visit. Nadia Chopra, my physical therapist is simply AMAZING. The woman is a walking talking anatomy dictionary. She worked with me very methodically and sequentially and used various techniques and exercises over a series of sessions. She has a jovial personality and that also helped a lot especially in the painful moments. I have been pain free for some time now. In my case, my injury is such that the pain may recur, so I am delighted to have found my physical therapist. I highly recommend Nadia.
They are greedy and there are far better physical therapy outfits that are more knowledgeable and skilled in assessing and treating injury. I have been to many body workers for injuries and this rated in the bottom as far as helpfulness goes, and even though it was clear they didn't know how to proceed and we're taking shots in the dark about helping me, they insisted on continuing to waste my time. Even complaints of complete lack of progress still result in them urging you to schedule more and more appointments, and it's difficult to decide how to proceed because there is some temporary relief of symptoms. I was also double covered by two insurance payers, with the secondary paying 100%. This company submitted and was paid for some of the claims but did not sort out all of them due to confusing staff changes, and then sent me to collections for some visits and not others. At 3 visits per week for a few months, that adds up to quite a lot. I really wanted to like them but I am severely disappointed with their moral and business practices.
After a near fatal motorcycle accident I was told that walking would be a challenge. Working with Michael and Amie I have been able to resume life's adventures. Recovering the use of my leg and gaining a support team to help me achieve my active lifestyle goals has been life changing. Highly recommend to family and friends as they are the best.
The only physical therapist I trust and have faith in helping me heal and become free of pain. Very professional and caring. Highly recommend.
I share patients with Michael and Aimee and couldn't be happier with their continued support of our complex medical patients.
