I shopped at Portmanteau 40 years ago and I am still using the two tote bags that I purchased. I returned last year and bought several pieces wallets, eye glass cases, and two handbags and I am so pleased with each item. Brava! It is so challenging to find such beautiful quality....I will return again this summer.
Such a great store if you are looking for a quality, unique bag or gifts made by an artisan. Customize, no problem The bags are reasonably priced considering the quality that you get - I have abused mine for over a year and it looks as good as when I bought it...and that is saying a lot considering the torture I put it through. Looking forward to my next visit to Portland for another style. The map bags are awesome gifts!
