Portofino Pizza

Portofino's pizza has been a staple for me since college. HUGE pizza like, the pizza can't fit flat through a doorway, huge for a very, very competitive price. I won't say cheap because it means that their quality is bad - which it's not. Their pizza is a true definition of "bang for the buck" and had me coming back time and time again. Fast forward about 5 years I was planning a fairly large party for my wife, and she wanted pizza. *Ding* Portofino's. Their pizza hadn't changed a lick since 5 years ago. My only reason for the 4 stars and not 5 stars is that don't clearly advertise that their sauce can be pretty spicy not necessarily to me, but a lot of my wife's friends and i think it should at least be mentioned. Other than that small subjective thought, good pizza! Great work guys!

I found about this place long years ago, but went again because I have not brought something there in a long time. Paid for sauce, asked for sauce, waited and still did not get what I asked. I checked the pizza there and it looked good but no sauce just dry! And I gave him the money for example. It look like young or new owner not the same

We are From New England. We have had a hard time finding a pizza place that had that New York pizza taste! Luckily we found Portofinos! The pizza taste great and the price is awesome! If you want to know how pizza taste in New England, try them out! They have a party size pizza!! No one in Columbus carries that size pizza!

This is a neighborhood place in my area that I pop into once in a while. I use it more as a changeup from the more chain-like offerings dominating the area. Food is ok, nothing special, but not bad, and very affordable. If you're just looking for something quick and cheap that tastes fine if fairly generic, then you won't mind this place. Formally, I have no reasons to either recommend nor steer people away from the place, which speaks volumes for it's middle-of-the-road offerings. Their pizza and wings are two of their better offerings, while the fried shrimp I should have known better was not good at all.

Poorly cut pizza with literally a signal pepperoni on each slice of pizza not to mention it tasted horrible. The delivery time was terrible, took a hour and 40 minutes just to get the order. I don't recommend this place and definitely won't eat any of their food again

Up until today I would have given this place 5 stars, but after tonights experience I will never order from here again. We ordered a pickup order, with black olives, green peppers and onions and the order was read back to me. We had been busy all day so hadn't eaten and I was so hungry. We brought it home, our mistake for not checking it first. It had bacon, onions and green peppers. I don't eat meat on pizza, it makes me sick. My fiance said he would be able to eat it and called and just asked for a small replacement pizza instead of them making an entire new large pizza. They told us to come back in 30 minutes, he went back to pick it up and they said they didn't even put it in the oven yet. Again verified what toppings we wanted. Waited another 30 minutes only to find out they didn't put black olives on it. No one ever once apologized. There were at least 7 people working there and none of them showed respect or a sense of urgency. The fact that we have ordered from here so many times, and get treated this way for their mistake is unacceptable. Lack of customer service is a great way to lose customers.

We order pizza from Portofino's about every month or so. It isn't a particularly fancy place, and is a far cry from something like California Pizza Kitchen. However, if you are interested in a simple thin-crust pizza, made well, I'd recommend them. Our family lives relatively close, so there is also the "buy local" argument for us. Our order seldom varies so I can't speak to the breadth of their menu, but the pizzas we order never disappoint. There isn't a dine-in option, just a table for people to sit at while they wait for their pizza to be finished. The look of the place has gotten much better over the last few months, though, mostly because there aren't pizza boxes piled high in the waiting room. The space, generally, is like their pizza - solid, no frills.

My husband and I ordered a pizza and four subs from there. When we got our order, we found we were missing a sub. I called back and the guy on the phone was rude. When the delivery driver got here with our missing sub, he was very rude. Food is ok, but not worth the hour wait for it and rude customer service.

We ordered a pizza tonight and not only were they late but the pizza was cold and burnt. They claimed that they were sending a replacement pizza it's been over an hour no pizza and now they're not answering the phone. Reporting them to the better business bureau.

Always good food and friendly employees. Our order is always correct and always ready when they say it'll be ready for pick up even just walking in doesn't take very long. Inside can be very very warm feel sorry for the staff wish I could tip more more often.
