Portugalia Restaurant

Very large portions of delicious Portuguese food at very reasonable prices, along with good wine and fast service. The decor/ ambiance isn't much to write home about, but the food more than makes up for it.

This was the worst meal I had in Boston by far. And, honestly, one of the worst meals I've ever eaten period. The place was empty, which should have been a sign. Ordered the salt cod. Super bland and previously frozen. So overdone it was like chewing on the eraser end of a pencil. Even dumping a mound of salt on this thing couldn't make it taste. Just awful. And $22? Yikes! The only other patrons were the local drunks sitting at the bar screaming curse words at the Red Sox game. The saddest thing was this place came highly recommended by a friend of mine. Had to question her taste and judgement after consuming this dreck.

I attended my parent's 60th wedding anniversary with about 15 people in a private room. The food and service were excellent with a very knowledgeable and attentive waiters . The fish was done just as I ordered and was perfect. The restaurant has a very good ambiance and we didn't feel rush. The wine selection is extensive. This is definitely one of the best restaurants I have ever visit. Keep up the wonderful work.
