I love our floor plan, neighbors, pool and manager. The office is generally very responsive. The things that could be improved: packages being delivered back to our apartments directly, the dog park- cleaned up and better signs and maintenance doesn’t always seem to know what they’re doing.
Couldn't recommend this place less. My mom moved in here and has dealt with countless issues, that have been reported consistently, from roaches to incidents with our pets. There have been so many roaches that don't seem to go away even with pest control from when she first moved in. We had an incident with our dog where a resident reported that she was bit. My mom was walking our dog when this happened and saw our dog lunge, but we did not see a bite take place. She repeatedly asked the woman if she was OK, if she was hurt etc, and the woman continued to say yes and she was OK. The next day we wake up to the police at the door and a note from the leasing office saying that my mom has 24 hours to get rid of our dog, she needs to be quarantined etc. This was a nightmare that we had no choice to deal with. We had different stories from the leasing office and animal control, that it was reported as a bite, as a scratch, etc. Zero facts, no copy of the police report, but the leasing office was QUICK to tell my mom to get rid of the dog. Fast forward a few months, my mom's neighbors dogs maul our small dog outside of her apartment door because their door apparently wasn't fully closed. They rush her to the emergency room and we were there for about 6 hours unsure of what the outcome would be. Thankfully our dog is OK. The neighbor was very kind and helpful, HOWEVER, we've heard NOTHING from the useless leasing office outside of them asking my mom "what happened" which was told two-three times now. Zero action, commentary, remorse, nothing. The dogs are now back on the property less than a week later with no response from the leasing office on the incident. This place is dingy, poorly run, and honestly we've just had pretty bad luck here. Greystar dropped the ball with this property and it's wildly disappointing.
If I was ever going to live the apartment life it would be at this place. Great 24 security, beautifully maintained landscaping & grounds and friendly residents.
DO NOT MOVE HERE! The gated community isn’t so safe and secure. First, my 4 bikes were stolen and now my Vespa scooter has been stolen. The leasing apartment’s only solution is to file a police report. They do not care about you and continue to operate like nothing happened. This was an inside job, either an employee or resident. On another note, we moved into a dirt apartment, the refrigerator was not working properly and we had to discard our new groceries 2 times. We were promised a new refrigerator and it never came. If you have children, know that they have to be super quiet outside no running or laughing because the neighbors will complain and the leasing office will support them. This community is more like a retirement community and not for families. Management is not helpful and are unorganized. I emailed them my 60 days notice and supposedly they never received it. We have lived in other apartments in the Galleria/River Oaks area that were not as expensive and none of them have been this awful and unpleasant.
I really enjoy living here because the staff from the office is extremely nice and helpful. Also, the security is awesome. This is one of the reason that I chose to live here due to the 24 hour security.
"Friendly staff and neighbors Super well maintained inside the apartments and outside, close to everything. I just move there and I love it" That was when we move here. Now everything changes. When I walk from my parking spot, I feel like I walk in a "low budget housing " hallway,I tried to clean in front of my door, the pee of other dogs,I sent videos of some people but nothing happens..the leaves, and the dirt, but what about the rest of the hallway? Anyway isn't my job to do that. The brown Boxes for the trash, that is the worst idea too. In my apartment, I'm still waiting for a piece of the refrigerator, I understand that piece is not available anymore, but I really want to use the drawers in my refrigerator.
I have lived here for over ten years and I couldn't be happier! I have always felt very safe and beyond satisfied with the customer service offered by management. Angie and Mirian are amazing, and go above and beyond to ensure that their resident's needs are met. They are attentive and caring; genuinely concerned with the well being of their tenants. The location of the apartments is also fantastic with many wonderful things to do in close proximity. It is all these wonderful things and more that make me extremely grateful to call the Post Oak at Woodway my home!
When we moved in it was a nightmare there was an awful roaches and silver fish infestation that we had to take care of on our own. We communicated about it and all they offered was to fumigate on the outside. Then they have a huge mess with parking assigning us the spots that were already taken resulting in notes from residents telling us they would tow our cars even though we clearly had stickers to be on the premises. Then the dish washer broke and it stayed broken the entire time we lived they would come and do something and it would still clog and leave an awful smell so we stopped using it. They said they would get us a new one and then never did. Then when we went to move out we were told we did not need an appointment but upon arrival they told us no one could do a final walk through with us and said all was fine and took our keys. But then they went in and did a walk through without us. Instead of asking us to come by for a walk through so that we could sign off and discuss any discrepancies. Now they are trying to charge us for supposedly leaving a dirty apartment when it was cleaned by us. We received a dirty apartment but we did not leave a dirty apartment. The management is over all a mess they have no organization and their communication is awful. Also be warned that the town homes have to AC units that are old and not at all efficient. You’re better off living somewhere else.
Angie, the manager, cares a lot about this community and its tenants. She even came by after hours when I was having an issue with the AC. She is prompt to follow up on things and is easy to communicate with. The staff in the office is always friendly and the guards at the gate do such an excellent job. The mail man is even super nice and knows people by name! I had a guest visit and they mentioned the property looked landscaped like a hotel. It is very quiet and peaceful, lots of nature and shade and is in an awesome location in Houston, especially if you love memorial park.
The communities in this area don’t even compare! The property is really clean, it feels super friendly. Everyone seems really nice and all the people living there know each other, it’s like a true community! Jordan, the leasing guy, was the best apartment person I’ve ever worked with. He was super nice and knowledgeable, and the manager and assistant are really nice too. I’m really looking forward to my move in!
