Other than initial move-in issues of incomplete/delayed work orders unfinished make-ready and maintenance of the space along with mail key issues prior to move-in, it took about a month before things went smoothly. I will say that since then I’ve had an enjoyable experience here; I love the facilities that provides 24/7 access and security. The corridors and common areas have been recently upgraded and I enjoy seeing the space renovated so well. The leasing team Jay and Eve are so kind, considerate, and ready to go the extra mile to chat, provide little study comforts and resolve any issues I may have. I feel I am respected and prioritized! I also love the location, and have no complaints. Everything’s going well as it should thus far!
I already wrote a review previously of how horrible this place was to live at. And apparently it is horrible to move out of as well. Charged me 75$ in fees for "dirty" bathroom and "damage to walls". First of all, of course there is wear in a bathtub after living there a year. And the walls were patched and painted over. I have NEVER been charged fees after moving out of an apartment. This place is expensive and you receive ZERO benefits for living here. They do NOT have events, their gym equipment is broken, elevators always broken, trash everywhere. Why pay $1500 a month to live in garbage?! Do not live here.
Do not recommend I have lived here since July 2022 and I have had multiple issues with my apt. I call and no one ever answers, sent emails and no reply unless I send replies back to my own emails. Almost $100 in additional fees and also had to pay fees for electricity charges from the previous resident not having electricity connected. Tried to get it resolved and was told I had to pay. Overpriced and not worth the value based on experience. Previous resident is Aliyah Steele, can’t help but notice she has left a great review, but left 2 months into her lease that I took over, things have not been great for me. Water damage, had to submit MULTIPLE work orders to even get the ball rolling, I still have water damage that has not been fixed. There have been MULTIPLE break ins at the complex, based on what Citizen reports, ZERO communication from the apt complex about it. Also, they have had contractors recently, that have been repairing the complex, but the work has been poor. Handprints of paint left behind, paint droplets on the carpet in the hallways for the weeks. Do not recommend for what you will pay. I have lived at multiple other complexes and this place has set the bar for poor experience. Move somewhere else if you want your hard earned money spent wisely.
The property is under new management & let me tell you all that they are INCREDIBLE. They have turned this property around so fast & I know it's only the beginning. I'm a tough resident & I have very high expectations. I am so impressed with Joanna & her ability to run this property effectively & very professionally. She's a great listener & she's a doer. She has done everything she said she was going to do so far. The new management came and cleaned house, and is turning this property into the luxury apartments it's meant to be in an upscale area. 10/10. I have zero complaints.
2-month review: I would like to update my previous 1 star review. Quickly after that review, a new management company took over Rosco, and you definitely can see signs of improvement in the building. The resolved my issue in a few days. The pool that was green for a while is clear and clean again. They also started to clean some parts of the hallways and also started to register cars and fubs. So things have improved significantly. 1-month review: I moved to this place a month ago, which has been like a nightmare so far. After a month, I still don't have my mailbox key!! I am waiting for my documents, and I was told hundred times that we needed to catch the mailman and change the lock while he opened the box. And still, after a month, they have not done it because they don't care. I have never seen something like this in any other place. In addition, if you come here to visit in person, make sure to use the other elevators, they only clean the one in front of the office, but the other two, stink! Don't let the nice clean entrance deceive you; the hallways stink on the other side of the building.
I’ve always loved living here mostly for the KIND & GRACIOUS STAFF MEMBERS LIKE MR. JAY! He is very attention to detail to what the family wants and took the time necessary in presenting all my available options! God Bless You, Mr. Jay! Harlow is BLESSED to have you on their team!
First , Let me start off by saying JAY was/is INCREDIBLE. He made my move in process as SWIFT as possible. He kept me informed throughout the process and got me moved in ASAP as promised. Honestly had an approval for this complex and another cheaper option but Jays personality absolutely won me over ! I moved in 10/2022 . I have no complaints and overall satisfied with property. 4 stars simply because JAY made the experience and the property is maintained ! PROS: - I was greeted by many neighbors on my floor upon moving in all very polite and welcoming. -5th Floor is very quiet so far -GREAT AMENTIES on the first floorCON: That you CANNOT rent/utilize even for intimate gatherings: CONS: - I got a cleaning service to clean before I moved any items into the unit because the unit had NOT been THOROUGHLY cleaned. - The apartment is stationed directly in front of railroad trackwhich runs all throughout the day/night VERY LOUD so I would not recommend staying in the back of the complex if your a light sleeper.
Most awful rental application process I’ve ever experienced. Took two weeks to for them to reject my application and be rude to me in person. I scheduled a tour 8/29 at 1pm but received an email at 12pm the same day thanking me for coming in for a tour when I hadn’t toured yet. I called the office and Eve told me that the leasing agent Jay just left for lunch and wouldn’t be back until 1:30pm so I had to adjust my schedule for him. I arrived at 1:30pm and informed Jay about my appointment time at 1pm to which he denied but then checked and realized that he just misremembered. His response was “Haha I’m glad you came now because I wouldn’t have been here at 1pm.” The tour of the actual apartment was fine and I decided to aply the nextmorning8/30. I informed Jay that I had an offer letter and prior rent history and during the tour and he said that would be fine for employment and rental verification. After applying Jay did not accept my offer letter as employment verification and wanted to contact my employer to fill out a verification form. I gave him an email to hr and also informed him of my prior rental history and then he did not respond to any of my emails until the next week Wednesday 9/7. For that week I called the office several times daily to try to get a hold of Jay and the call would usually not go through. For the times that it did Jay would inform me that he is working on getting the verification. On 9/8 after they finally accepted my offer letter as proof of income Jay asked me to remind him if I had any rental history. At this point we had discussed this several times already. He told me he would try to get in contact with my previous apartment but needed an email since their phone wasn’t working. Their management changed so the emails changed since I moved out but luckily the same manager worked there. Jay emailed her asking to fill out the form. The next morning 9/9 he told me that I would have until the end of day to get my previous apartment to fill out the verification form. I drove to my old apartment since there was a delay in response and I only had a few hours to get my rental verification thanks to Jay. My previous apartment manager told me that since they changed property management they shredded all prior records so I was no longer in the system. She sent Jay an email containing proof that I leased there but could not fill out the form since I wasn’t in the system. I called Jay and he told me many times “unfortunately that form has to be filled out in order to get approved even if you have proof you lived there before.” I asked for an alternative solution and he told me I could pay double of admin fees since they charge that for first time renters but he would have to ask his manager at 2pm in their meeting. I did not hear back from Jay so I drove to the apartment office and arrived around 3 thinking he would be done by then. Eve informed me that he just went into the meeting and I would have to wait around 30 minutes. While I was waiting another prospect came in the office just to speak to jay since he was not getting responses to his emails or calls. I met with him and his manager after their meeting. The manager wasn’t even caught up to speed with my application process but was blaming me for not having the rental verification form. She told me that there was no way for me to be accepted and did not provide me any alternatives. It was out of my control and knowledge that my previous records were deleted due to management change but shwould not let me apply again as a first time renter. I told her of how it took two weeks for them to just reject me and waste my time and money since the $250 application and admin fee is non refundable. she claimed she had no knowledge of what was going on and shifted the blame to Jay and asked him to explain himself. He came up with some bs excuses and denied my claims of him only giving me a few hours to get my rental verification. Since then I have applied to a different apartment and their process is much smoother. 0/10. Do not waste your time here.
I would like to preface this by saying I'm not, nor have I been, a resident of this property. However I recently went on a tour and although the property is nice, my experience wasn't as great. I scheduled a tour online and after submitting was told that someone from the office would reach out, I'm assuming for confirmation. About 30 mins before my appt, I had to call because I still hadn't heard from anyone. Was told that I was on their schedule so I arrived at that time. Sat for 10 mins without being addressed by 3 different leasing agents. One was concluding a tour with another potential tenant, who had been offered water by the way, so I didn't expect him to stop and help me. After the tour was over, I was told I'd be sent a follow up email with quotes on the units I was interested in. Like the confirmation email, that never came. I've toured 30+ properties within the last month or so and have never felt so disrespected and disregarded by leasing office staff.
I wrote a previous review and I still stand by that - Jay has been a huge help. However……… Joanna, isn’t. I had a visitor over night on Saturday and Sunday morning his car had been towed. Even though he attempted to register his car per the signs posted ALLLLLLL over the garage. Only to find out that, the website listed isn’t the website to register your car???? When speaking to the manager she was very unsympathetic and I felt very disregarded! She even walked away from me and left me sitting there. I asked her why those signs were posted if the website isn’t correct and she said “ those aren’t our signs they are the tow company” OK SO WHYYYYY are they posted if the info is incorrect. I asked her since they are wrong if they plan on taking them down and her response was very sarcastic. I understand there was a link for me A RESIDENT to register my car but what they don’t tell you is that the guests need to be registered on the same site? Even though the signs in the garage clearly say something different. If that is the case then maybe put that info in the welcome packet oh and include the property code. Since it seems like a lot of cars have been towed from here, management should fix the lack of communication. I ask that the signs posted on the garage be removed and the correct information is posted. And also I would like for the property and management to take responsibility for this happening.
