I contacted Dr Waters after conventional doctors were unable to figure out what was causing my reflux and throat mucus issues. She discovered I had a severe dairy and egg sensitivity among other things that caused my gut to be unhealthy, and after changing my diet I felt like a different person. I'm still healing, but with diet change and the supplements she recommended, I feel better every day, my joint pain is almost completely gone, my reflux is gone, the mucus is almost gone, and my head is clearer. I also love that the supplements are natural, gentle and don't have the side effects of prescription drugs!

After over 4 years of going to traditional doctors for severe "gastritis" (which I guess is the name they give to digestive issues that they don't understand) and feeling worse instead of better, I was at my breaking point. I started looking at alternative treatments and found Dr. Waters. Instead of the usual "Well, don't eat gluten and take these pills" that I had been getting, Dr. Waters took the time to take my history (and boy was it in-depth - she knows more about me than my own family does at this point!), she actually spoke to me about how I was feeling and what I had already tried, and she did about 15 different tests - all in the first appointment! The treatments she has given me have been life-changing. I no longer suffer severe nausea all day, every day - I can actually eat again without having to curl up in a fetal position against the cramps and nausea. She has literally given me back my life. If you have been unable to find help in the traditional medical community, I highly recommend giving Dr. Waters a chance to see if she can help you. I still can't believe how much better I feel thanks to her!

I was searching for a naturopath here in Ft.Collins. I called many of them and most actually never called me back. But Dr Waters did! I am so grateful to have her as my doctor. Dr Waters is very thorough and very fair. She gets down to the nitty gritty. She takes care of the things your family Dr wouldn't even think to look for. THANK YOU Dr Waters!!!!

Joan is amazing. I travel down to Fort Collins to see her from Wyoming because the doctors in Wyoming are useless for anything more complicated than routine items. Joan is caring, spends time with you, and really seeks to get to know everything about you that could clue her into why you are having symptoms. She also is humble in acknowledging when you have reached beyond her level of expertise, leading her to help work with other doctors to try to get you treatment to find a solution. She also is a continual researcher, trying to figure out new methods of treatment or new reasons why you have the symptoms you do. I have seen over 20 doctors in the last year for strange symptoms, and she is the ONLY one I would recommend.

Dr. Waters is passionate about her work and it shows in the treatment she gives her patients. I love the fact that she is willing to go the extra mile to give her patients the quality of service they deserve! My experience with Dr. Waters has been very positive and I highly recommend her.
