The fishing here is so-so. They do release trout here a couple times a year so if you're into that I guess its pretty good. There is a trail that goes all the way around the pond side. There is a boat ramp on the side that inlets into the river which is impervious to current when the river is high. There's also a spot there for the handicapped to drive down to.

Nice area. Great trail and boat ramps. Lots of birds and fishing spots. Found a couple geocaches.

Pretty park. No playground, but plenty of room to play-- fish, walk, run, bike ride, rollerblade/skate, even picnic. If you're lucky, you'll see an eagle or 2 flying about as this area has become their home & sanctuary. Decent parking lot room with 1-2 porta potties (lifesavers!). Bring your own water, as there's no fountain or faucet (which is kind of a bummer, but you're an adult, thus you should always plan on bringing ample fluids with you, regardless, to any new place). Enjoy the scenic 1.8+mi paved loop trail that links up in close proximity with the dirt/gravel Sac & Fox trail to the south & east.

This is a great urban fishery, stocked with both rainbow and brown trout. There are also many other species present in the lake, from Channel catfish to largemouth bass, even Walleye and Northern pike. The only downside is that it tends to become quite busy during the nights and summer months, and can get over fished at times.
