Presents of Mind

One of the most fun and welcoming shops in Portland and it just keeps getting better. Staff are always a delight. One of their strengths is a good selection of beautiful and quirky jewelry with lots of local artists. Items for all ages. Great place to get baby gifts, cards, really nice candles, quality gift wrap. They fulfill all my Hanukkah gelt, candles, menorahs and Advent calendar needs every year and I love to get stocking stuffers, a nice candle, and a Winter Break puzzle there.

Shopped here a handful of times but my last visit I got followed, yelled at, and embarrassed by a worker. The store has good prices and cute selection. Good place to go to if you want to grab a gift and wrapping at the same time, but try not to linger and maybe you won't get humiliated by a worker. Love the stuff I've bought from here before but I don't feel comfortable shopping here anymore.

The brightest nicest and most suited store to buy mom and anyone you love gifts! Exceptional customer service from Gerri, no better place to shop.

Difficult to rate my experience. Nice selection, good prices, didn't appreciate how my partner got followed around the store by a blonde worker. They my partner clearly intended to make a purchase and was chatting with the cashier who was very helpful btw. Even if they were merely browsing, that's their right. Not a good look with BLM everywhere in your windows & not as live, laugh, love as the vibe of the store suggests.

Bought a box of thank you cards for $12.95. This is a great shop for small gifts, cards and wrapping paper.

Lots of things to look at! Almost no room to walk around it was so packed with goodies. Great place to visit for local and not local gifts.

This is a really nice shop. A lot of places I feel have a lot of nice looking stuff, but not much that I'd really care to buy/recieve, and overall a whole lot of showy stuff that isn't that great. Not the case here. Presents of Mind is chock full of good stuff, and is my go to place for cards, small gifts, wrapping, and the like. Notebooks and that sort of thing too. As someone who likes to send a lot of letters/cards, I really appreciate their selection of blank, general use cards.

My parents have had a business in the area for nearly 20 years and Presents of Mind has been a place I’ve been coming to for at least a decade. All the little knick knacks are so great. This is my favorite place to come pick up gifts and they also have some of the best cards ever. The service is also super friendly each time I come in and their conversation is great.

The customer service is amazing! Walked in like a lost puppy for graduation gifts and walked out feeling like a pro! Thank you for going above and beyond to wrap up the presents for my cousin's high school graduation!

Walk in and you hear a welcome greeting from a staff member. I love this little gem of a gift shop. Need a greeting card? What a fabulous selection for every occasion. LOTS of humor, and a great selection of blank cards with photos or art of our city and its surroundings, as well as funny photos, art, and cartoons, and beauty of scenery and flowers. So I never walk away without the perfect card. Want to wrap and gift or a great gift bag? It's there, Want cute things from t-shirts to onesies for a baby? Go to Presents of Mind. Want funny trinkets, a journal, sealing wax, marvelous socks, great purses, and some gifts items of clothing? It's all there. How about unique and really nice jewelry? It's there. Seasonal items for all holidays? Unique ones? They're there. I love the store and the people.
