Prime Storage

I recently had a great experience with Prime Storage Customer Service at their Scarborough, Maine location, specifically with the manager, Melissa, who was so prompt, professional, kind, and friendly. She went above and beyond to help me with an urgent issue and resolved it so positively and so quickly. I have confidence in sticking with this company!

Late fee was added and unit was locked without ever sending an invoice let alone a warning letter. Made me feel like it was my fault that there were issues with their internal record keeping. Significant amount of rat droppings in one of my units.

Been using them for months now and hadn't seen the bad reviews. I've no problems at all so far. I'm a little wary now but figured it was only fair to share my opinion. And I saw the other good review made a good point: hundreds of units and only a few negative reviews. People do tend to let their opinion be more known when they're upset than when they are happy.

This is my first time renting a storage unit. When I had to call the facilities I googled their number and saw the bad reviews. I don't normally review anything but thought "what are these people talking about". I have not experienced anything that the other reviews listed. I have had my storage unit at this facility for over a year now and have had absolutely no problems. My unit has no leaks Or signs of mice, they also accept MasterCard or Visa over the phone; not just cash. The location is secured and you are given a passcode and unit number so you can access your belongings when you want. Snow is also removed in a timely manner. Of course most people only give a review when something bad happens to them so a few bad reviews over the past 8 years and several hundred units, I think this place is doing just fine. I'll stick with them as long as I need to.
