The nurse at Princeton Lakes is one of the sweetest, most patient & caring nurses that Ive seen. My daughter has the worst fear of needles and having her throat swabbed. Each time this wonderful nurse goes to great lengths to calm and reassure my daughter. She has the patience of a saint. Her care is genuine and she is a model of what nursing is all about. My daughter does not dread seeing Dr. Drayton. She is kind and professional. I would recommend anyone to this office with this wonderful staff.
I love my daughters doctor but the wait time is ridiculous I’ve literally waited a hour before seeing the doctor and there’s bearly anyone in here! The hospital and this doctor office is running head to head with wait times!
We’ve been coming to this location for probably 7 years, primarily because we live down the street, but the wait times are never less than 45-60 just to be seen by the doctor or NP. I’ve definitely waited longer during some visits. An average visit from check-in to check-out is about 90 minutes, you’ll spend most of that time sitting. My most recent visit included seeing a lot of new staff, I was told I’d be seeing one person but then a new doctor walks in. The continuity here is lacking, it’s like all the physicians are part-time or just filling in and they don’t know your child personally or their history which is important to me because my child is disabled and sees several specialist. If it weren’t for the the convenience of the location, I’d likely go elsewhere. If you’re child needs to return to school that day, you can forget it because of the wait. Even appointments first thing in the morning, you’re always waiting. They seem to schedule several appointments at the same time but only have one physician or NP. I’m writing this as I’m 63 minutes into an appointment and still haven’t seen anyone. I literally dread coming here and my children often miss wellness checks simply because I hate coming. Also, they will send you a dozen messages and emails plus call leading up to the appointment. There’s no way you’ll forget because they’ll make contact repeatedly. I received 8 reminders within a 24 hour period.
We absolutely love Princeton lakes! Dr Claudio is absolutely amazing and has always taken the time to listen to any concerns I have and always makes me feel more at ease. The nurses are amazing with my very impatient toddler and we’ve never had to wait too long. Front desk is always kind when we call!
The staff is nice but the wait times are insane it takes no less than an hour and a half for a basic well check and the exam etc probably takes 10-20 minutes so the rest is just waiting and waiting and waiting they to either add additional staff to accommodate or reduce there schedule the wait times are ridiculous and it’s not getting better
The doctors are condescending if you even have the same physician more than twice. Every time I go to this location there is an issue. Like everyone else has stated the wait time is ridiculous it’s been an hour 15 + each visit. Not to mention I’ve had multiple occasions where I paid my child’s bill in full after her visit and each time I went back I had a balance due! My last visit was the last straw for me because the doctor was extremely condescending and rude! She spoke to me like I was hard of hearing and repeated herself several times instead of simply listening to what I was saying. As a nurse myself the care for patients and therapeutic communication here is extremely lacking I’ve been coming here since my kids were little for convenience but no more.
The staff and Dr were very nice. This was our first visit and my daughter was uncomfortable about seeing a new doctor. The doctor took her time explaining to my daughter about changes she will experience and safety precautions. She made my daughter feel comfortable. When we left the office my daughter said, "I really like her doctor, she was so nice." Big thumbs up!
The office is nice, however, the staff were not very patient with my autistic foster son. One of the nurses was snickering as we left because he was making noises associated with his disorder. The nurse that greeted us seemed to believe I was too young to have custody of him and asked for proof of guardianship. I have taken him to multiple appointments of all sorts and never asked this before. There was one nurse that was very nice to him. She helped us with his shots/ weight/ height. I appreciated her friendly face in this situation.
I have had nothing but great service at Princeton Lakes Pediatrics Kennesaw! From Ginger at the front desk with her welcoming smile to nurse Deondria who always goes above and beyond to assist with both my children's needs and my daughter's special services this place has been an absolute blessing. We have moved several times since the birth of my son in 2014 but due to their doctors excellent attention to detail, the staff's awesome bedside manner and love for my children, I think it's more than worth the travel time to stick it out with them. So grateful I found a pediatrics office that's professional and makes me feel comfortable when discussing EVERYTHING my children might need medically!
Dr. Sheisa is amazing. & so are her nurses! Every time we come in, they know exactly who we are and what happened at our last visit. I don't have to repeat his whole medical history like I did with our previous pediatrician. & they love on my baby instead of just treating him like a patient The on call doctor is a major plus too. Being a new mom with a 5 month old, I've needed to take advantage of that a few times. It's saved us from unnecessary trips to the ER. Not only that, any time we need to come in, they always find time to see my son. I couldn't ask for a better doctor's office.
