I’ve been with Progress Residential for a few months now, as always I’m very satisfied with their punctuality & professionalism. The whole team is just awesome. I would like to thank maintenance technician “G” for his time & the patience he had when coming to my home. He went above & beyond to make sure things were fixed properly. He was very knowledgeable & helpful. I have had nothing but great experiences since I first started renting from Progress Residential. Thank you all for all your patience & hard work at making sure things gets done in a timely manner, I have nothing but great things to say. This is definitely the best company I have been with since moving here & their team have been the best. Thank you all & God bless.
After having a few people come out for services regarding our rental home and nothing getting fixed we were not sure how to feel about this company. Darius was the technician that came out after the third service on our smart door lock and he was amazing. He helped out in every way he could and was incredibly patient with the issues we were having. He did a great job and was super knowledgeable about every possible issue going on.
So far my experience has been great as far as the customer service goes and I would like to shout out one of your maintenance technicians Darius. He got to my home around 11am and did not leave until a little after 3pm. He took his time and properly accessed everything that needed repairs, fixed what he could fix and advised of what needed to be repaired by a third party. He also had to go to home depot to get parts needed. I really don't know how many appointments he has daily but he was very friendly, professional and did not show an ounce of frustration about the labor that was needed. There is always room for improvement but overall I am satisfied with my home.
Progress owns a home at 295 Overlook Drive, Covington Georgia. The home is unoccupied and the yard hasn’t been maintained in months. Weeds 6 foot tall! Grass hasn’t been cut all summer. They are hurting property values in the neighborhood!!! This is how they care for their properties, imagine how they take care of their tenants!!!
I haven't even moved in good and the downstairs heat will not turn on. It works in Emergency mode but I should not have to use EM just to have heat. Heat/Ac is called a “priority” but it certainly isn’t treated like one. I have called over 10 times and have been hung up on at least twice. I've been told by each agent that they were putting in a work order but whenever I called back, I was told that there was no work order. My kids can’t even eat downstairs because it’s so cold in the mornings. I actually received an email for a work order from one of the agents I spoke with but it's been 3 days and no one still has come out. Also, the kitchen appliances were NOT cleaned before I moved in. This is unacceptable! Oh! I did get email reminder this morning to make sure that I pay my rent by the first! I am a licensed realtor and whenever my clients are looking for a place to rent, I will definitely deter them Progress Residential! Update: So the maintenance guy finally comes today. He says this was the first time that he had been notified. He removes the cover from the thermostat only to find out that it had been wired wrong. He rewires it and after spending an hour going up and down the attic and back and forth outside to the unit, he says that he’s unable to fix it and that I need an HVAC person as he thinks it’s either overcharged or undercharged. This is so horrible as the temperatures here in Georgia drops significantly the mornings. The heat/ac should have been inspected before renting this place out! This is not what you call “move in ready”. I can only use the upstairs half of the house but they are expecting full rent. This is deplorable and despicable and screams greed. I have emailed my broker to figure out what complaints can be filed against this company. Please believe every one star review and save yourself the headache!
Carlos Molina was the technician sent out to fix our HVAC after it went out again due to the lack of preventative maintenance by Progress even after months of asking them. He was wonderful & informative. He deserves a damn raise, having to clean up the angered tenants left by customer service! We appreciated his professionalism & getting the job done quickly. Progress should listen to these professionals they hire, they could save some money & have happier tenants! Not happy with the customer service of this company!
WORST RENTAL EXPERIENCE EVER! I'm so sorry I ever started renting from Progress Residential! It's been bad from the start. I moved into a home that has a finished basement that started experiencing water intrusions within 15 days of move in. They wouldn't transfer me to another home. Insisted I allow them a chance to fix it. It constantly rained and leaked for another 30 days! They were not able to fix it! They finally approved my transfer to another location. My security deposit and the next months rent I'd already paid would be transferred to the new house with me. Unfortunately that didn't happen! I've sent do many emails to these people to fix this! I've spent HOUR'S on the phone. I have late fees.. Lawyers fees.. Eviction notice fee's...$3000 they claim I owe when my rent has been paid a month in advance for the two months I've been renting from this establishment. To make matters worst.. I'm afraid they're going to ruin my credit reporting I owe all this money when the transfer was approved due to the mold and mildew issues in the previous property, and my rent was already paid prior to the transfer even taking place! I think it's time to get legal representation at this point. If I could just move I totally would! DO NOT RENT FROM PROGRESS RESIDENTIAL !
This company is awesome when you first move in. I have been in my home for almost 4 years so maybe it was a smaller company at the time. I currently have court tomorrow for my third eviction filed by this company however I always have paid in advance. I plan on presenting proof of that to the judge and asking where their $10,000 I supposedly owe them comes from. They do not adhere to their own leases. Everyone who you get on the phone with the company is very nice and seems super helpful however nothing ever changes. I have spent countless hours on the phone dealing with multiple people trying to find anyone who can correct their mistake in my account. I have been locked out of their payment portal so many times it's crazy.
Progress Residential took over from my last property management company this year. We have been at same property since Feb 28 2019 with no issues until they took over. I have never been so stressed or frustrated. It’s nearly impossible to get a hold of a customer service representative, I have been on hold for 3hrs and hung up on. And when I eventually find someone to talk to, the lack of unprofessionalism is appalling. I would think that the first criteria of being client-facing is to be courteous, not with this company though! One thing I know for a fact is I won’t be paying for the fraudulent charges that’s on my account which nobody has deemed it fit to address. I have not received a reply to my emails and no one has the decency to call me back! I’m ready to lawyer up and report this business for fraud! You must think we all don’t know our rights or can’t comprehend a ledger. And my security deposit better come through when I move out by the end of august! One last thing, stop stealing from your renters!
This is the absolute worst move in experience I've ever had! First of all, they've failed to give me access to my home on the actual move in date. Even though I have delivery confirmation of move in funds, I did not receive keys until the next day. Which left us homeless for a night. When we were finally able to access home, it was dirty, there were bugs everywhere, and there were different locks throughout the home that we did not receive keys for. The contact info I have for leasing agent and move in orientation specialist are completely useless, because they never answer calls or emails. When reaching out to 1800# for call center, all they can do is give me the same contact info I already have. I've spent hours on the phone and none of our problems have resolved. Seems like this company just takes your money and doesn't care. This is only month 1, and we already can't wait for this lease to be over.
