Project 150

About

Project 150 was formed because the Clark County School District has an overwhelming number of homeless teens attending high school. www.Project150.org

Story

Fast Facts:
9,300 Homeless Students in Clark County. The Problem Isn’t Going Away on its Own.

Project 150 serves nearly 1,000 homeless, displaced and disadvantaged students in 15 high schools with plans to serve all high schools in Southern Nevada.

Project 150 collects gently used clothes, toiletries, non perishable food, and school supplies year round.
The most needed school supplies are pens, pencils, highlighters, paper, spiral notebooks, notebook dividers, and calculators - simplistic to scientific calculators, glue sticks, index cards, protractor & compass sets, USB flash drives, combination locks for lockers, and backpacks. Food items needed include juices, crackers, instant soup, instant oatmeal, Jell-O, pudding, Hershey’s chocolate, protein bars, pop-tarts, granola bars, chips – non-perishable items that can be carried. Gently used or new teen appropriate clothing and NEW small fleece throws, briefs, under shirts, white socks, dress socks, bras, panties, and tank tops. Personal hygiene essentials are crucial.

You can drop off your items at our volunteer center during hours of operation.

Project 150 holds special drives for high school sports equipment, formal wear, blankets and other seasonal items as needed.

Project 150 accepts tax deductible monetary donations. 100% of your financial donation goes towards helping Homeless High School Students.

Project 150 delivers clothes, supplies and food directly to schools for distribution directly to the students

Project 150 collaborates with many organizations in our community who share our mission of providing basic needs to homeless, displaced and disadvantaged high school students.

Project 150 is a 501(c)3 non-profit charitable organization that was organized in December, 2011 when the founders heard about 150 homeless high school students at Rancho High School in Las Vegas that were in need of support over the Christmas Break. The effort has expanded to helping over 2,500 in 45 high schools when it was understood that the problems these students faced were prevalent across the valley.

Absolutely great service, working staff are amazing and very helpful and respectful and kind to everyone! Great food and snacks for the kids. Nice back to school selections of clothes, hygiene, school supplies and more! Can't wait to visit again! This is a great way to help high school students in need just in time for the new school year! They really work around your schedule and reasonable.
Wonderful Amaizing friendly staff, everyone greets you as you walk in, you just feel very comfortable with everyone there's , the clothing is practically new with tags still attached, walking in and looking at everything looks like a department store and not a place where donations are accepted all tho they do accept donations.
What a great place. Helping 9 different high schools in Nevada keep their homeless students clothed, and fed. Check out Betty's Boutique next door. They provide clothes for prom and other high school events. Get involved today. These folks are working hard, but need your help! Thanks!
I took my high schooler here a few months back and when your struggling to make ends meet they come in handy and the clothing surprisingly there's a lot of name Brand stuff. Project 150 is such a blessing for any high schoolers here in Las Vegas. They let high school kids pick 10 outfits every month, shoes, socks all that great stuff and you can get a coue sacks of food items and backpacks too. It's all free but you have to show high school ID to get services.
I learned of Project 150 just this week from one of the cashiers at Target on Sky Pointe. I’m so glad she let me know. I went into the facility to see what I could do to help and was given a tour by Stacy who is in charge. I must say I was very impressed with what I saw and was extremely impressed with Stacy and her staff and all of the volunteers. After observing I could see that they are very organized and that actions are being taken to make sure that every donation is being stretched as far as possible and that they have everything planned out to try to help as many teenagers as possible and that nothing goes to waste. Project 150 seems to have a multitude of offerings, classes in life skills planning and scholarships, etc. for less fortunate high school students, to try to give them a leg up. As Stacy walked me around the facility she told me excitedly about every area and what is being accomplished in each one. It’s easy to see Stacy’s heart is in it. Please go on line to their website and read about their mission and give anything and everything you feel you can to this cause which covers almost every single high school in Southern Nevada. It’s a huge task and they need us to do what we can to help, big or small; every little bit will help. I am going to be telling everyone where I go on a routine basis about Project 150 and encouraging everyone to get involved.
This place is great and I can't wait to do business with them. If you're a teen, or know a teen in need of clothing, food, employment resources, Project 150 has everything! God bless them!
What a great project for teenagers to help them out along the way of doing school. Many thanks to you Project 150!
Took the full tour of this facility and was truly impressed. The organization is very well organized and is a great place for helping people. Food, clothing, school supplies and hygiene products, programs and services for children of all ages. I've volunteered at numerous agencies in my 68 years and this is one of the best ones.
