If you are considering lasik, there is no other choice than Providence Eye & Laser! I did a ton of research and they were ranked one of the best in Charlotte. Now I know why! Providence Eye had me from the first phone call where they spent 20+ minutes addressing any and all concerns. They were upfront about pricing and there were no surprises or hidden fees. They even gave me a number that I could text with additional questions. The level of professionalism and efficiency is unlike any medical experience I’ve ever had. There was no wait for my first consultation, my surgery or my post-op exam. Dr. Nunnery walked me through the entire process both at the consultation and while in surgery. They checked my vision 4 times and performed a number of tests to ensure I was a candidate and that there would be no issues!!! They have it down to a science pun intended! Although I was 100% confident in Dr. Nunnery and his staff, I was absolutely terrified of the surgery itself. They really went the extra mile to calm me down and ensure I was comfortable. From providing a weighted blanket, to allowing me to squeeze the life out of Olivia’s hand one of the ophthalmic techs, I am happy to say, I can now see 20/15!!!! BETTER than 20/20. I am screaming thank you from the bottom of my heart!!!

Imagine that everywhere you look, Your vision is as though you are looking at the entire world through Saran Wrap! That’s what cataracts had done to me! After being diagnosed by my local optometrist, I sought help from Dr Trey Nunnery at Providence Eye in Charlotte. I was really nervous about the surgery, and Dr Nunnery and his staff put me at ease! Dr Nunnery took a lot of time explaining everything he would do, what I should expect and what I shouldn’t expect! I have to recognize some of his staff sorry I can’t remember everyone’s names, Christine, who did my evaluations and Connie who handled the financial end along with all the communications between Providence Eye and myself were personal, friendly, professional and compassionate did you catch the part where I said I was nervous?! The surgery itself was done in Fort Mill at Edgewater Surgery Center, where Joye and Daniel took excellent care of me! I feel like my vision now is miraculous! Together, we had decided that I would have a lens that would help me with midrange and distant vision, and I can now clearly read the clock by my bed and see individual leaves on the trees! At post op checkups, when I thanked Dr Nunnery for restoring my long lost distance vision I will still use readers, his comments were that it is a group effort and that he just puts the pieces in and God does the healing! What a humble man! Thank you Dr Nunnery and your team of wonder workers! From the staff at the office to the surgical nurses, everyone put me at ease and helped me make this life changing decision! Thank you!

I could not be more pleased with my overall experience at Providence Eye! They are pleasant, efficient, and precise! Dr. Nunnery is so kind and takes his time to explain everything! And the staff is top notch! I am very happy with my Lasik surgery results and will be telling all of my near/far-sighted friends not to wait any longer!

I contemplated having lasik for 2 years. I finally went ahead with it and have no regrets. Only two days in but happy about my vision. I will say that I got quite nervous leading up to the surgery, mainly excitement about the unknown pain to come but I was quickly relieved after 5 seconds in to find it was a very easy experience. Premium quality and care but with a guarantee of satisfaction for life. I recommend to anyone that doesn't want to wear glasses all the time. I will update if any complications arise.

I went to two different lasik specialist and Providence lasik was by far the best. Their protocols seem to be more aimed towards caring for you as the patient and the health of your eyes. Having a laser in your eye is pretty scary and intense but they made it a calm and easy experience.

I was skeptical and afraid of LASIK until I spoke to two friends who happened to be former patients of Dr Mozayeni. I saw how it improved their quality of life. Well, I took the plunge and I’m very glad for it. The staff were friendly, the office is immaculately clean, and the procedure was made very easy to understand. My recovery has only just began, but already my vision is 20/15.

What an amazing experience so far. Moved to Charlotte from West coast and I am impressed with Dr. Chen and her staff. They worked very hard to get my insurance approved at their practice and Dr. Chen went above and beyond to squeeze me in her tight schedule. Her staff also went above and beyond to communicate with me and my insurance and I am very happy to know that they will be taking care of me from now on. I am very happy with the practice so far.

I can see perfectly without glasses or contacts! Every single person I met at this office was kind, professional, and efficient. I felt completely at ease every step of the way. Honestly, I was so on the fence about getting lasik as my prescription wasn’t too bad, but I finally made the decision to get the free consultation. Dr. Mozayeni and the rest of the staff were really thorough and completely honest with me about everything. All of my questions were answered I am a big researcher and am always prepared with questions. I opted for the added enhancement, Contoura, since I qualified for it. The surgery itself was really not bad at all and that’s coming from someone who can’t handle anything that has to do with their eyes. There was some pressure, lights, sounds, and blurring, but I was talked to during the entire procedure and then within a few minutes, I was done. I did not feel any eye pain and really no discomfort after the surgery. By the next day, my vision was recorded at 20/15 and I definitely noticed the difference! I felt like I could see for miles. I dealt with some significant dry eye symptoms and headaches for the first week back in front of a screen, but it subsided the following week. I just have my one month follow up and was recorded at 20/10 vision. Definitely do not regret getting this procedure and am so happy to not deal with contacts anymore!

I had LASIK with Dr. Mozayeni three weeks ago and have been so happy with the entire process, and results! I had been wearing contacts for over 20 years and about a year or two ago, they became very uncomfortable no matter what kind or brand I tried. I also have seasonal allergies which really bothered my eyes multiple times a year and contacts were very uncomfortable to deal with during those seasons. My quite poor nearsighted vision has been stable for many years -7.25 L eye, -5 R eye and after reading reviews and hearing positive feedback from numerous friends, I decided to get a consultation at Providence. Everything was clearly explained and I felt very comfortable with moving forward with the procedure by the end of the appointment. A few weeks later I had my LASIK and couldn’t believe how easy and minimally uncomfortable the whole thing was - and fast! It truly is about 30 seconds per eye, and zero pain, even during recovery. Just like all the reviews say, after a nap you wake up and can see perfectly! The next morning I was seeing 20/15 in each eye. The dryness and halo effect around lights over the last few weeks has been pretty substantial but each week it lessens, and the drops they instruct you to get are all you need to deal with it.
