When we arrived on a Saturday night and the place was busy but the wait time was not long at all. Your seated relatively quickly and our order was taken. We decided not to have appetizers just the salad and the bread. And then the two entrees which one was chicken and the other was veal. The order came out very quickly and was excellent the service was very attentive. And end we had some spumoni ice cream. There's an excellent choice for our dinner and Shane was a very good server. Came for my birthday in October and everything was just as good.
Highly suggested!! Just went there for lunch on Sunday and this place was amazing. My waitress “Maddy” was amazing. Not only did she give me space and time to eat. She also made sure to note my preferences and provided great customer service. The food was amazing. Real authentic Italian!!!
Back again for lunch today. I had Zita Al Mondo. So good! My favorite Italian restaurant on Barrett Parkway. I can't say enough good things about this place, it is beyond fantastic!Food: 5/5
My friend and I originally went to this restaurant because it had great reviews, however we were deceived. Starting off with the salad which ended up getting sent back because there was a hair in it. The garlic bread was just regular rolls with an overwhelming about of margarine and raw garlic. When we received our entrees, our disappointment continued. The chicken was soggy and swimming in an off putting colored sauce and the Alfredo with just noodles with white sauce thrown on top. The meal looked like it was just thrown in a microwave and placed on a plate. When we voiced our concerns, the manager did not come and speak to us at all and charged the card. This restaurant does not deserve the reviews it has and I will most definitely not be returning or recommending.
We were able to be seated fairly quick, which was nice. We sat for a while before our server came to the table. She did not introduce herself. She literally came up to the table and said, "we have this, this and that to drink. Do ya'll want drinks?". I was already put off by this. Almost like she didn't want to serve us or we were inconveniencing her. We started off with the sampler platter and calamari. The Sampler platter was just that. Two cheese sticks, two ravioli, two or three fries zucchini and artichokes. The calamari was basically nuggets. It was odd. We did get free garlic bread and salad. The garlic bread was good, but nothing to write home about. The salad needed more dressing. It tasted a litte watery. The food was blah. I ordered the shrimp and scallop pasta and the "alfredo sauce" was so thick. My son had chicken marsala which the chicken came on the side with a side of spaghetti w/red sauce? Never seen that before. My husband and nephew's food was not well seasoned. My sister's Lasagna was burnt. They do not have freshly grated Parmesean which was not a good look for an "Italian" restaurant. We probably won't come back. May as well call this place Olive Garden II. Oh, finally got our server's name at the end after asking. Alice.
I have only been here twice so far but both times were outstanding! The salad is delicious you get with fresh garlic bread. We ordered the mozzarella sticks, veggie lasagna and peppers and sausage dish and let me tell you it did not disappoint! Everything was delicious. Enjoy the pics! Don’t drool too much.
Went for my boyfriend birthday so he could get his free meal. Waitress was not friendly and failed to mention he gets ice cream and cookie for his birthday. We had to ask if it was still available. She said " I will bring that right out ", no I apologize, I forgot, your are correct....nothing.Food: 5/5
Not sure why this place is highly rated. The food is so bland outside of everything being smothered in garlic. Ordered chicken Marsala and the sauce had no hint of Marsala wine at all and the chicken was smothered in mushrooms that weren’t fresh. More like out of a can. Marsala of any kind is a favorite of mine, this was my first time here and I won’t be back. I make better Marsala at home with store bought . They served Marsala with pasta, spaghetti to be exact. Who serves Marsala with beef and tomato spaghetti sauce? I was just confused overall. Much better Italian places to choose from, skip this one unless you’re okay the most boring meal of your life. Very underwhelming and looked a hot mess.
This was supposed to be breaded chicken in a wine and lemon butter sauce. When the server checked on me I showed her this and she stated it always looks like that. She replaced this entree with a better option. I have to say something about the garlic bread, they served us raw green garlic sprinkled over bread rolls.
Loved the atmosphere, food was delish. All of our table had only good things to say about everything we had. The salad and bread before the meal was superb as well! So happy we gave it a try. Staff was on point as well and very attentive. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is I wish they had cocktails! I could have used one that evening. Over all great experience.
