Publix

This is a new Publix. I love the deli section, it always has a good variety of specialty cheeses. They also have a good selection of wines. The store is clean and it has good parking and well lit at night.

This is a mini Publix, so it doesn't have as great of a selection and frequently stops carrying items. They also sell out on Sundays for certain items so shopping on Monday is difficult. The parking lot gets crowded, but it's a convenient location for the surrounding neighborhood.

They regularly run out of chicken at dinner time with no intention of making more. That never happens in the burbs. "We will never knowingly disappoint you" I've been reading that in Publix for 50 years. Apparently it doesn't apply to in town Publix.

Publix itself was fairly nice, the parking lot is crazy during peak hours though. Avoid going right after work if you can

The people who work here are so kind and helpful! Also, the store is always perfectly neat and organized.

I live across the street from this Publix and always come here for a quick grocery run and snack runs! The cart attendants are always so so nice! And the people at the registers always greet me! I’m only taking off a star because sometimes customer service when I’m returning things has been a little rude, other than that, i love this location!

I don’t write reviews often but I wanted to recognize the amazing efforts of the pharmacy manager at the Publix on Howell Mill Road. Morgan was amazing. After I had a terrible experience at the Walgreens next door, I came to Publix for a flu shot and a my third booster shot for Covid before my overseas trip next week. Morgan was a pro on every level. She solved problems, answered questions and went above and beyond to make it right! She did everything right! And Walgreens did it wrong. Thanks Morgan for making me feel respected and valued. And now vaccinated too!

Publix here is always a pleasant shopping experience due to helpful workers and managers even if you don't ask. HOWEVER tacky people in our neighborhood are making it stressful and dangerous for Publix to maintain health department rules by REPEATEDLY bringing in their dogs...putting them in the baskets, letting them inside frozen food fridge doors and challenging management that tries to enforce rules. This is NASTY and rude no matter how clean and well behaved u think ur dog is. If I have my dog and I have to go to the store I take her home first. SO FELLOW DOG OWNERS .... 1 plan grocery trips when u leave ur dog home!! 2 Get over yourselves, stop disrespecting our great grocery store and your fellow neighbors. 3 take a health sciences class so U can get a clue 4 don't purposely go over there... challenge employers cause a scene and cost people their jobs. Don't "be the drama".

Out of all the Publix I have been too regarding the Deli/ Sub department is the worst. Your order is never ready on time or they don’t have the ingredients and wait til you get there to let you know. What happened to calling like the other Publix do? Also, the last time I came here my sandwich was made by a girl named Cali and I called to make sure they had everything and that it would be done correctly. Cali, stated she understood and it would be made as advised. I get there and it’s only half a sandwich, not whole and hot. Which, it’s a cold sandwich and she did not even apologize and was very rude. Then, they told me it could not be remade because they no longer had all the ingredients. Then, they get the manager and she apologizes and stated they will make me a new sandwich but it would have to be something else. I waited 10 mins and noticed they were making other people sandwiches, so I asked who’s making my sandwich. They called the manager again, then she asked me what I wanted in the sandwich and made it completely wrong by putting stuff on there that I did not ask for or tell her to do. Then, the lady’s were making jokes and being very unprofessional. The whole Deli department is trashed/ unprofessional. The hiring manager should get fired or needs train.

Kevin in the meat department was amazing! He had superb customer service and went above and beyond to provide me with a great shopping experience. I was looking for lamb chops and they all seemed to be sold out. I felt defeated but still asked Kevin if they had any and he was kind enough to go look in the back and found them! He made my day and I was happy to make delicious lamb chops for my family thanks to him. His personality was very warm and welcoming. I will be back to this location because of him!
