Pulaski County High School

I do not recommend sending any child to this school, I attended this Highschool for 2 and a half years, While attending this school I was Beaten and Bullied several times, telling the staff at the school gained no results in my favor, as I was told by Guidance staff to and I quote thier words "Suck it up" the principles upon several occasions threatened me personally with legal actions due to a misinterpretation with a set of headphones I had found on the floor of the gym during time in between classes, I was going to turn them into a lost and found by the end of day, because going to lost and found during mid class transition was not possible due to short time restraint, They pulled me out of next class taking me into a closed room with no cameras and accused me of theft and threatened legal actions, the next morning I found out the headphones were of a friend of mine, and where he had to reassure me that nothing legal would come of it, and that it was the on staff police officer who watched me pick up the headphones and did not intervene at the time. I also recount time at this school with a teacher (not naming names) that I had informed i was being threatened and bullied by a group of students in their class, The next day we came into school there was a new seating arrangement, where every name that i had given to the teacher was sat in a circle around me (I am not kidding this really happened) the final straw was the home ec teacher who couldn't accept that I wasn't cheating in her class, and that I due to family issues at the time I could not take homework to school, I do blame her as the majority reason as to my departure from that school, the stress of home life mixed with the incessant abuse from the faculty of that school was too much for me to bare, and It resulted in me having a heart attack, that was when I left to be homeschooled, It has been roughly 4 years since I was in that school, and even as of last night of writing this I have nightmares from my time here, I cannot say in good faith to anyone that this is a learning environment appropriate for anyone. This place has mentally scarred me, and I am doubtful that I will ever get over it, There were some minorly good teachers here, but very few and very far in between, I beg of any parent reading this to know, That I am not okay in life because of this school, and I know I am not the only one among my peers who attended this institution that was affected negatively due to the time spent here, I beseech those looking to enlist their children here, to look elsewhere and save your child much hardship and pain, There is nothing in my life that I wish i could forget more than attending this school. It will haunt me until the day I die.

I believe this to be a good school i heard alot of people brag on the teachers, principal, cooks, janitorial services and the staff as a whole. As a grandmother people from other places have told me about their warm reception when they have visited the school.

Do not go to Pulaski county high school if you care for your child's health and education, this school is a joke
