Pullman Square

I really like going to Pullman, especially on dates. There are lots of things to do. There's a Cold Stone Creamery and a Starbucks, for dates where neither person is that hungry. There's also Max & Erma's and Roosters, both tasty places that are good for one-on-one evenings or groups. The Rooster's bartenders are really nice and they have a pretty good beer selection. Max and Erma's has a good margarita pitcher deal, so watch for that. I've thoroughly enjoyed the Pullman theater too, and they're good about responding when someone complains about an annoying loud/phone-using person. Empire Books is cool too, and I've bought a few journals there. During the summer, one of the radio stations hosts a live music event every week, on Thursdays if I'm remembering correctly. Rails and Ales is held at Pullman too. It's a good place to keep up with if you want to go to events in Huntington, and if you want to know the schedule of events, ask the employees in the shops. Someone from Empire told me when the music events were going to happen last year, which makes me think they know a little bit in advance of the bigger events.

Nice outside area making strip mall shopping a place to enjoy the outdoors. Grounds groomed nicely.

recommend watching We Are Marshall movie and touring the town and places shown in movie. small town pride is evident as well as hospitality. it has its dark sides as any city but this my home state and feel no unease

Its the main hangout for anyone living within 10 miles of downtown. It was suppose to be a new mecca for high end stores, even suppose to be a target. All which never happened. So, some mom and pop stores that are cool, but nothing really that interesting.
