Easily the best place in NYC to workout. My husband and I religiously attend Ahmed's classes, and we're always looking forward to them. The classes are tough with little breaks, and you truly can feel a difference in strength and fitness level if you stick to these classes. Also Ahmed is an awesome guy - he knows my husband and I by name and is super friendly and motivating and pays close attention to form. Check out the studio - you won't regret it!
By far one of the best studios I've found through ClassPass - amazing workout every time. Classes are varied and extremely challenging, and Ahmed and his instructors hone in on the individual fitness levels of their students. Great classes, great studio!
I take classes at Pushlab any chance I can! Great instructors and I love a really tough 45 minute class. I love that the small classes get you the proper attention for motivation and proper form to get the best out of my workout. Each trainer really cares to give you the best workout.
One of the best gyms in the city. Ahmed teaches proper form while pushing people to their limit. The class is pretty rigorous but there are lot of ways to modify, and Ahmed tailors the workout to each person's abilities. You will come away feeling accomplished and stronger. The exercises also change often enough during each session, and week-to-week, which keeps your body guessing and sets up new challenges each class. There is a healthy mix of TRX, dumbbell / body weight exercises, and to a lesser extent some rowing and kettlebells. I've also noticed that there are a lot of recurring members who attend classes, which speaks to how much people enjoy this class. The space has a nice, clean feel and the combination of Ahmed's outgoing personality and expertise makes exercising more of a joy than a chore.
If sweat had a best friend it'd be Pushlab-Fitness. Absolutely paining but such a great feeling after every class. Tough as nails but also very accommodating, a great style of teaching tbh. The trainers are very upbeat and nice and yet very very motivating. So many times I would've quit but the trainers push you just enough to make it. A wonderful experience, thank you! I lost 25 lbs!
I've been attending classes at PushLab twice a week for over a year now with Ahmed. His classes are always a personal challenge and I leave feeling great about myself... and sweaty! I love the small class size and i'm always being corrected on my form which I very much appreciate! My body and overall health have improved thanks to PushLab. Thanks for constantly kicking my butt!
PushLab is one of my favorite workout classes on the UES and always kicks my butt. It is a small, clean studio with great equipment and the instructors are always positive, helpful and motivating. I highly recommend you check this place out if you are looking for a great full body workout.
Ahmed is legimately one of the greatest trainers and instructors I'd ever had the grace of meeting. Not only is he knowledgable, but he is professional and he really know what he's doing. He's like a tachiquado champion or something. All of the trainers are amazing! Gabriel can work your abs and glutes like you've never had before and Jana can whoop your butt and give you the most intricate workout in 45 minutes. 10/10 tell you're friends! This is the greatest workout you can ever receive on the upper east side!
Ahmed is the best trainer in NYC; i have worked with several coaches over the past 15 years and find his diverse routine and techniques as well as his motivational approach really make a difference. Strongly recommend this for all athletes, from the beginner to the advanced collegiate athlete, ironman, etc. for a way to cross train effectively.
Originally found the gym through ClassPass... subsequently switched over to taking classes here regularly two to hopefully three soon! times a week. Consistently challenging amd awesome 45 minute workouts. You WILL get stronger! I've taken classes with Ahmed, Gabriel and Janna and they're all great.
