This USED to be really great coffee with really stellar service. I visited yesterday and the cashier, a male, was very rude. The "barista," a female, "made" my iced coffee and it just wasn't as light as I usually like it. They didn't smile, the barista seemed to be multitasking. Taking out trash and cleaning the back and just popping over to make beverages. It was mid afternoon and not crazy busy. I stood for a while for someone to acknowledge that I was waiting for assistance. They both the barista and cashier seemed to scoff at me, seemingly annoyed that I didn't just take my iced coffee and go. The cups are ridiculously smaller than they used to be. The "coffee" not as flavorful....watery and no body. Cutting costs this much will clearly hurt this business. Such a shame. What once felt like a warm and small neighborhood hotspot for coffee and other beverages feels now like.....well....a Starbucks. Yuck. The warmth is gone. It seems "more corporate." When the African American barista isn't there, everything falls apart. The manager 3 years ago was the GOAT. EVERYONE looks super stressed now, overworked and short staffed. Meh. Parking: Parking is a nightmare. You either wait for some I to leave one of the few metered spots or park in the not-so-convenient if you're just grabbing coffee and going garage.
The tall man with black hair was nothing short of useless. First coffee was cold. This is when he told me the coffee in the machine was old...Why did he serve it. I stood waiting 10 minutes for him to brew a new pot and thats when he told me the coffee machine needed 20 minutes to warm up and brew. Brain dead... He asked me if I wanted an Americano so I had to settle or try to get my money back. I waited 10 minutes and the coffee was pathetically weak and tasteless. The staff was not helpful and I would suggest NEVER going there. Fools on a fools errand...don't be a fool.
Nice store. The barista had to remake my coffee multiple times since they were not listening when I finally got it, it was still wrong, but I left anyway. I ordered a decaf, skim latte. Nothing too crazy. The coffee was extremely burnt. It seems like they were trying to emulate the taste of Starbucks.Food: 3/5
There was one staff member that was exceptionally rude. I asked for the location of the bathroom and she snapped at me. I was super confused. It was unnecessary and weird. The barista was very nice and the coffee was ok. Not sure if I would come back. There are super great coffee places near by. A shame because the location isn’t bad.Service: 1/5
Delicious coffee in a dapper environment. They also serve free iced water. There are so many delicious pastries it is difficult to make a choiceService: 4/5
Team is nice, the service goes well, and location is very convenient, but the coffee beans are way too dark and they taste burnt. The espresso was off in many aspects. I couldn't finish it... :Food: 1/5

So so good. I drive 25 miles for this coffee from Clarksburg because it's just that amazing. Best tasting latte I've had in awhile, with the perfect ratio of milk to espresso. So thankful I discovered this place. Also the muffins are amazing as well and super fluffy.Food: 5/5
Yummy coffee selection; extremely nice people; the owner is frequently there overseeing everything. I've become a regular, and I can see my assessment is not different from the many others who enjoy this place. We miss Alexis, her humor, and personality, but new things will happen for Quartermaine. Glad it is around.Food: 5/5
