They don't know how to receive an electronic fax, printed out only the cover sheet and then said never received the order. Made me call for a new order to be manually faxed and then wait back in the waiting room. Also insisted on taking a credit card instead of billing after finding out what insurance will cover. Also, some of the staff are weirdly cold and distant, as if trying to be warm and friendly but just either don't really want to or are just too "done" with people.
I called to ensure they had my orders 3 days before my appointment and they said yes. When I arrived the person that assisted me said they didn't have my orders. Apparently, they don't have a phone number and just because Quest 866# can see it doesn't mean they can. In my case, I asked if they could get it from them, but no my doctor has to fax it to them and my doctor wasn't open yet. The staff was frustrated and said it is on my doctor, but if I can call Quest and they can see my orders that's on them. They need to fix their system or perhaps get their own phone number. If going here, ensure you have their local fax number before going and hope for the best. There were two other people with the same issue while I was there so clearly it's a problem.
I went to LabCorp a couple weeks ago 19th St location and this place was a thousand times better. I barely waited until my name was called I waited about 45 minutes at LC, the process was quick and clearly explained, the employees were friendly to me and to each other, and every area was clean and cheery. Overall a great experience!
Had some issues with insurance coverage for my blood draw and the staff I had gave me a cold gaze the entire time. I was only in the patient room for 10 minutes and felt very judged and unwelcomed the entire time.
I have frequently had to endure more than one poke when having blood work done; this wasn't the case here. I also had a misunderstanding and failed to bring a printed copy of my test order. The lovely person assisting me was so patient and kind as she helped me connect my phone to their printer so I could complete my blood work. I wish I remembered her name so I could include specific thanks. Regardless, I am thankful for such a positive experience with what could have been stressful or futile, and I am thankful for and inspired by the patience of medical professionals especially in the current world!
So i get there and there is a Kiosk that you sign in on...easy enough; then a prompt on the Video screen says my name and the 4 minutes wait...I waited 22 minutes and the screen never changed...when they FINALLY did call me back I asked how long it would take because I've waited 22 minutes after the board telling me I had a 3 minute wait and now i;m late for work.....she says..."i'm not with IT!!!" Ha Ha Ha...Are you serious or just a brain surgeon? I had to leave and go to another location another day because the lady is inept and completely doesn't know her job; and COVID is not an excuse anymore; you people gotta get your stuff together. BAD BUSINESS PRACTICE. HORRIBLE AMATEURS OVER THERE
I have never been an easy blood draw due to some small veins. Typically I am poked multiple times to no avail so going to get my blood drawn brings up some anxiety. Enter Jamila sp?! She was grounded, kind, patient and got me on the first try! I will be going back for future blood draws.
Said they didn’t have any water. But kept giving other clients bottles of water.
Very friendly, professional, helpful, hygienic, fast! Very nice experience.
Disrespectful employees
