One star is generous for this "patient service center" but know that 1 star is the minimum rating. I have had 2 completely disastrous trips here, both for an annual blood draw for my company's wellness program. This year I arrived 11 minutes late on a quiet Saturday morning. The check-in screen informed me that I would have to reschedule or come on a walk-in basis. I chose "walk-in and was given the number 03. Moments later the door opened and an employee came out and told me they don't take walk-ins. She asked if I had an appointment and I said yes, and I have a requisition too. Moments later she came back and said I'm "cancelled" due to lateness. May I say at this juncture that the lobby was completely empty and there were hardly any cars in the parking lot. Clearly this employee didnt want to be bothered with doing her job. She told me to call an 888# which of course was unmanned and directed me to a website. This company does not deserve my company's business, or anyone's. Extremely rude uncaring "health professional".
I had an appointment, which is why I was probably taken care of so kindly. Everyone waiting on standby was extremely rude to the staff. The waiting area was extremely uncomfortable, I was surrounded by angry people that didn’t have appointments. Walk ins are not always welcome, and that is the risk you take when you don’t make an appointment. Other than having to wait with the insane people banging on the lab door every few seconds, my experience in the lab was really pleasant, super quick, and I was informed about when I’d receive results. There are only two staff members for this location, and It looked like they even run the lab portion. I was very very impressed. My advice: if you can’t wait patiently, and can’t make an appointment, then don’t come here. These technicians are doing the best they can with the little time they have in between the scheduled appointments.
My partner was told to "Uncross your legs". Absolutely horrible customer interaction and genuinely disappointing that a MANAGER said that to a young woman. I wish I could give this place a 0 star rating. They also had no record of her being there even though she has to go yearly and went in November but they didn't draw enough blood so she had to go again. Even after she showed them the confirmation number and email explaining the situation and with a new appointment they still gave her attitude and talked about her in the other room where it was heard by EVERYONE. I cannot believe a "PROFESSIONAL MEDICAL" facility would ever treat someone like that.
I went to this Quest location for a pre-employment drug screening several days ago, and I can definitely say that this was one of the WORST clinical/medical experiences that I've ever had - including ER trips and surgeries. The tech who performed the test was an incredibly rude and condescending older woman; not only did she fail to explain the procedure effectively, but she treated me like a criminal the whole time for no reason other than my tattoos, maybe. She was super impatient, and after about three minutes, started banging on the door and screaming at me to come out. When I explained that I was having a hard time filling the cup all the way I'm a pelvic floor therapy patient - watch out if you are, too, she dismissed my concerns and continued snapping orders at me until I left. Now, just a few days later, I have been contacted by my new employer with a request to complete another screening, as the results of my first one were thrown out. As a disabled person, this experience was not only inconvenient and frustrating, but genuinely upsetting, too. No matter how close or conveniently located the South Broadway location is to you, PLEASE save yourself the trouble and find a different location to complete your screening at. You'll be saving yourself from a massive headache and emotional abuse. I don't know what your life is like, lady, but I'm going to parrot several other reviewers and ask: who hurt you? A little bit of compassion goes a long way.
It was a pretty bad experience. The tablet time to check in made me 9 minutes early which is late so I had to wait another 30 minutes for the next appointment. I did have one good experience here a few years ago so this location has the ability but as of now I wouldn't go to this location.
The front desk lady named Rose is the meanest lady I’ve ever encountered. She is a horrible fit for a receptionist/security. Her attitude really makes people want to be mean in return so I had to pull out google reviews to deviate my attention elsewhere. I’m not sure who hired her but they did a horrible job at picking out the greeting person for this establishment meant. Awful customer service. However, the Phlebotomist was very respectful and kind. It’s a shame you have to leave a bad review because the tech was great.
I have been going faithfully to this location for years. Not anymore.....yesterday was a nightmare! I had my appt at 9:20, arrived a couple mins early and checked in at the kiosk. Kiosk had a system failure and kicked my appt to a walk in 20 mins later. Then I had a terrible phlebotomist who double punctured my vein and I had a bubble with swelling all day yesterday. It hurts to bend my arm today and itches really bad. So a 5 min scheduled blood draw turned into 45 mins of chaos and a wounded vein to boot.
Scheduling an appointment was easy as well as check in. The nurses are good at drawing blood I always have trouble due to extremely shallow veins and were superstars when I started feeling ill. I would definitely go again and recommend to any of my friends and family!
I can’t even begin to convey how awful my experience was for a simple pre-employment drug screen at this circus of a lab. First, I was scheduled to go to a location at Swedish hospital, where I sat and waited for 20 minutes and THEN was told that they don’t actually have the kits to do the testing. The fella there sent me to this dreary location that was not easy to get to from the google maps platform. By the time I arrive here, clearly I REALLY had to “go” as I had been holding my urine for this purpose for over an hour at this point. The security lady at front desk wasn’t exactly friendly, spoke quietly through a mask and yelled at me when I asked her to repeat. I very politely explained my circumstance Quest labs error, not mine and was rudely told by some para-professional in scrubs that I just needed to wait in line despite my sense of urgency due to Quest labs incompetence at first assigned location. There was a young man called to go before me, and he said he wasn’t quite ready “to go” and offered for me to go in his place, but they tauntingly denied his kind offer, and ordered him to just gulp down a lot of water of which they had none available. The absolute worst part of this whole thing is when they finally call me back and another EXTREMELY rude chubby lady with little English speaking skills also in scrubs treated me seriously like a criminal during the entire process. She started banging on the door after 20 seconds telling me to hurry, then accused me of flushing the toilet which CLEARLY I had not, and went to get the first rude lady to show her the consequential small amount of splash on toilet seat as if I was intentionally tampering. All in all, the experience, location and staff can be deemed an absolute nightmare! Ironically, I had to do yet another drug screen for a different volunteer job a few days later in Greenwood Village, called 5280 Drug Testing which was a very pleasant and definitely professional-I HIGHLY recommend that site instead. This Quest testing site should be shut down in my humble opinion. Horrendous.
I cannot even begin to explain how horrible this entire interaction was. I really hate writing negative reviews as well, but I do feel like the system and people in charge could be more organized. I came to this location for a pre-employment drug screen, where I booked my appointment in advance over the phone. When I arrived at this location 3-5 minutes before my appointment, the front desk lady was extremely rude and told me I needed to check-in in 20 minutes as if I should have known check-in was later. I then tried to explain I had an appointment before check-in so I was confused on when I would be next. She gave me so much attitude and told me to tell one of the phlebotomists about this instead of her. Once I was able to check-in through the iPAD, naturally the iPAD could tell I was late for my appointment and the closest appointment available was 40 minutes later. I then waited an hour and 10 minutes to be seen by someone. The staff inside was friendlier, but I didn't understand why the FD lady was being so rude to me. I was naturally perplexed by the disorganized system since I had an appointment, and I would have preferred some instructions or PSA about check-in being at 9:30, so I wouldn't have scheduled a 9:10 appointment, to then wait an entire hour.
