I really liked the way we were served. The waitress was very helpful. I do not consume alcohol and pork. They made sure to use a separate pan and not to add cooking wine in our food. Overall it is an inclusive place with warm and nice people.Food: 5/5

We had an excellent experience at the R Wine Bar and Kitchen! The staff were very attentive and provided excellent service. We did mention that it was our anniversary so they gave us some extra touches. It was on a Thursday night so there was a jazz band playing and it added to the wonderful atmosphere. Been here a few time for lunch and dinner. Amazing place, you can’t go wrong. Amazing pasta dishes and wine. I’ve never had the dessert in house always to go, mediocre at best but maybe it’s better in house.

If you plan on coming here.. plan to eat some carbs. We showed up early without a reservation and I was glad as it started to fill quickly. Started out with the mussels and let me tell you what I will remember them in my dreams. The bread soaking up the sauce like a Hoover vacuum almost made me cry. The entrees were all fantastic I don’t think you could have ordered something wrong. The steak was incredibly tender and cooked well. Overall these people got it going. For the price you pay I believe it is worth it.

An amazing restaurant with impeccable service and food. This has been one of our mainstays for a few years now and I don't see that changing. The food is excellent and somehow continues to get better. The ricotta is a must have each time and has been updated recently with even better toast. Creamy, a bit of honey, and delicious. We always get the bisteca gorgonzola steak with gnocchi and the Chilean seabass. Both are cooked sous vide so they're as tender as can be and very flavorful. The garden salad is also a must have each time as it's fresh, great greens, and excellent dressing options. Other favorites are the pasta al limone and pasta alla papalina with chicken. You can't go wrong with any of the deserts. I haven't even mentioned the wine. It's well curated and for those that don't always know what they want, the featured wines are always great to try. I don't know my old world wines very well but you can always ask for a recommendation to get something that's great. The service has always been great, which is something that's difficult to find in Sioux Falls. You can tell there is server training and they actually seem to care about your experience. They also have live entertainment Thursday through Saturday, which brings in some of Sioux Falls best entertainers.

I absolutely loved this place!!! The staff was amazing especially the bartender she was so sweet, knowledgeable and helpful! The wine selection was vast and the food menu was condensed and precise. The flavor was spectacular and they even asked me what level of spice I preferred for my pasta! Their Caesar salad had to be part of my top 5 that I’ve ever had and I typically don’t care for a wedge but this one made me eat my words, literally! The dynamic between front of the house and back of the house was family oriented and they help each other out throughout the entire dining process. I will 100% return again on my next visit to Sioux Falls!

Always can count on the consistency of their delicious Italian food and warm hospitality! R Wine Bar is our go-to! Last night’s pesto was off the charts perfection! Also enjoyed a beautiful red wine! Kid-friendliness: Noticed a large family having a grand time celebrating a child’s birthday!

Great place with great service! Picture is of the lasagna that was the special. Desserts are top notch as well. Highly recommend stopping in.Food: 5/5
