Please ask for the noodles y and the artisan flower tea! This place is full of Chinese books that you can grab and read while having a nice tea blend. Their menu is quite extensive and they have written down all the tea benefits that every single blend has. Also their tea sets decor are for sale!
The atmosphere is peaceful with books on shelves, displays of tea pots for sale, and quiet music. It's a great place for a date or catching up with friends. I will say that it's not the best study place because there isn't really a space to just sit and lounge about. Now most importantly, the food and tea. The tea is traditional. If you enjoy your tea without sugar, you'll love it here. They have a large list of tea which I love with their origin listed as well. My dumplings we're delicious, I wish I had more but it's okay. The price is not really cheap. A pot of tea is about $8 and up if I remember correctly for a person by themselves. It's much more lenient if you have more people with you.
This place is quite cozy with delicious tea but fairly average food. This was our second time visiting and our primary reason for returning was the tea which is obviously a good thing. We ordered a couple dumpling sampler boxes and a pot of ginger milk tea pictured which is our all-time favorite. Dumplings were just ok but not something to write home about however the tea was spectacular. I would recommend checking this place out if you're looking for delicious tea. Prices were slightly above average given quality of the food.
Good tea selection, but I am skeptical of their brewing methods. I was informed that all green teas are brewed at the same temperature of around 80C; too hot for Gyokuro! Food was solid, but not amazing.
It’s an authentic Cantonese & Sichuan restaurant, but the price isn’t cheap they also charged $3 for a bowl of brown rice. Staff were friendly, service was good but foods were mediocre. The waitress suggested the stir-fried doumiao was excellent. Salted fish eggplant diced chicken pot was a little bit too sweet but with brown rice then it’s not that bad. Overall, it’s an ok restaurant for vegetables dishes, I did enjoy their atmosphere tea pots and books decor.
Came here during the Chinese New Year of the Pig with my friends. I have to say that this place is an awesome find! The atmosphere is nice. Their food is unique and very flavorful. And their teas are so good! I had the Golden Monkey, and I highly recommend it! Definitely a comeback place for leisure with company.
Small yet fabulous eatery hidden away from the main streets of the city. We came across this gem while walking around that area. From the outside it looks like just a tea house but we were mistaken. The staff were very good and the food equally good and very reasonably priced. Would recommend a visit.
Love this tea place. The staff are friendly but the service can be slow. The food is generally good, with a great selection of teas served in beautiful tea sets.
Amazing tea...reading and tea go together. This is a nice and quiet environment to sit and sip tea with a friend or do some reading. They also serve food.
Pork belly rich and tasty, soupy pork dumplings good if a bit bland, and the osmanthus oolong so delicate. Service oscillated between brisk and courteous, depending on coming from the yang waiter or the yin waitress, but this actually only added to the almost cultural experience this restaurant offers.
