Raleigh Beer Garden

This place is great. Last Saturday I was visiting Raleigh and this place had a great vibe. I was told they have one of the biggest beer selections in the country. They have 6+ bars in the building but it's open air and a laid back vibe. They have, a roof deck, open air dining, a huge gravel beer garden with games (connect 4, corn hole, etc), live music (this past Saturday) and food vendors out side. If you want whisky, cheap beer, or some of the best craft in the world stop they have it all.

This is a great bar. Close to the end of Glenwood, but still within distance of other bars if you're feeling like moving around. It's also a great place to just stay at all night long. They have outdoor games in the back, the giant connect 4 is probably my favorite. The beer selection is great, with multiple bars on the property so you never have to go to far for a refill. And with good food coming out of the kitchen it's a fun place for any time. Highly recommend!!

There are tons of beers to choose from here and the bartenders are very helpful when you need suggestions. The staff was great and the beers were cold. I didn't eat but the food smelled good. I didn't give it 5 stars because the bathrooms are small and a bit messy. The women's room downstairs only had 2 stalls and this is a big place with 3 floors and lots of business. Not sure about the upstairs bathrooms.

The service here is terrible. We came to the Raleigh Beer Garden because we heard such great things! We’re not from the area, and wanted to try something new! The server came and threw our checks at us when we didn’t even ask for them. We felt so unwelcome! I love the space and the selection of beer, but we had an awful experience overall. We waited super long for our server to bring us food and drinks and didn’t see our server for a majority of the time. When the checks came they were split up incorrectly. After speaking with the manager, although he recognized our concerns, it didn’t feel like he really cared. I will definitely give it a second chance, and hopefully things will be different the next time.

I love the setup of this venue with the 3 levels and rooftop seating. I’m not a big beer drinker but enjoy the variety they offer. However I can’t give it 5 stars because of the service. I’ve been to this location several times and the servers do not always quickly approach you when to wait at the bar. They instead carry on conversations with each other and approach other guests that walk up after you. Sometimes when seated at a table you wait for a long time for a server to come over. With better service this place could be great.
