Ralphie's Cafe Italiano

Ordered three appetizers and two identical spaghetti with meat sauce and sausage. The fried calamari was initially undercooked and carried a weird taste. The waitress offered to have it fried again, which came back better cooked but still carried the weird taste. The dish was returned and removed from bill. It was clear that the mac&cheese bites and fried mushroom were either over fried or re-fried from left over from yesterday. They tasted alright so we accepted them. The sausage came embedded inside the meat sauce. It was a pretty skinny sausage... And it tasted overcooked. The meat sauce also had a weird taste... The pasta was cooked alright. We won't be returning here.

Stop by after a funeral for a bite to eat. We both ordered a dish that had chicken in it and it was as tough as could be. The bartender was super nice offer to pack up our leftovers and we told her the situation. She proceeded to go tell her manager and nothing was done of it nor did the manager come over and offer anything in replacement. It's toobad because it was a cute Restaurant and the server was nice. Maybe they specialize in something else but these were items off their specialty menu I mean who can screw up chicken broccoli Alfredo.

Stopped in for a little lunch date with my husband. Definitely was a little busy there at lunch but got seated right away. Waitress started us out with a whole loaf of homemade loaf if Italian bread (very yummy) My husband had the chicken parmesan with pasta,very big portion. Chicken was very tender you could cut it with just your fork. I had the eggplant special( also a big portion) which came with a salad and french fries. I have definitely had my fare share of eggplant at different Italian eateries and thought the eggplant was sliced far to thin, there was more batter than there was eggplant that you could barely taste any eggplant. I definitely would not order this again because if I'm ordering eggplant I expect to be able to taste eggplant. They do have a Very Good sauce that is used in all there dishes. It was very comforting in the restaurant with great Italian oldies playing in the background. Waitress was very polite and prompt and food came out very quickly even tho it was somewhat busy. I definitely would try it again and try something different from the menu.

Such friendly service. We were staying at a local hotel and my husband and I weren't sure if we wanted to go out to eat or get some take out. Decided on take out but couldn't decide what to get so we went to the restaurant to order to go. Sat at the front area for a few minutes with the menus the hostess handed us to decide. They were extremely helpful in helping us decide between our narrowed down choices what to get, they had soo many great options. After we ordered the host heard us talking to see who would go back to wait in the car on the cool evening with our Chihuahua so he didn't worry in the parking lot. She was so kind and took down our number and called us from the parking lot to let us know everything was ready and actually stepped outside after the call and handed us the food in the lot so we were all that quicker getting back to our dog and hotel room. So glad to have had that experience and we know if we have the chance in the future we will be happy return customers for that great experience

We were done eating and waited 20 minutes for our check because the waitress stood there talking to another table. When asking for something, the waitress did not bring what you asked for. The food tasted like I was eating a salt shaker. now i know why people say it's ok. They were being polite. I'm not going to go there again.
