I've bought and sold two Brooklyn apartments with Jim, and he really is the best of the best. He was recommended by a friend who had used him to buy a brownstone in Park Slope, and who raved about him. Jim more than lived up to the hype. He seems to understand on a deep level how stressful the process of buying and selling real estate can be for the average person, and he explains everything so clearly and patiently. I always bombard him with questions, and he answers them with cheerful promptness and care. Two of my transactions were fraught with drama the first one due to a shady buyer's broker, the second one due to the buyer's obscure bank and a difficult co-op board, and Jim guided me through both with cool patience and expert advice. His prices are reasonable and he never tries to get you to add on additional services. I can't recommend him highly enough.
