Best 24 hour spot for ice cream, milkshakes, fried Oreos, candy and all kinds of sweets! Plus Ray is the coolest, he's been in the lower East side of NY forever! He's got to be close to 80 something years old now and every single night I've ever gone to Ray's whether it's 8 pm or 5 am he's always working hard with a smile on and a great attitude! He makes everyone feel welcome and like their his favorite customer, which is a very hard thing to find in a place like NYC today. All of his treats are delicious! Amazing dessert and perfect service with a smile is guaranteed when you go to Ray's!!! Definitely check it out if you haven't yet!

This place has the best late night junk food, and Ray is the sweetest staff person I've met in NYC!! We went around 1:30 in the morning and he was still there with a smile on his face and working hard. Such a sweet guy making sweet treats!

Open 24 hours! 12 oreos fried while you wait, for $6. Way better than the ones that taste like cardboard from carnivals, etc. Haven't tried much else, but I'm sure it's all tasty. Perfect late night drunk snack spot

This place has been around here longer than your grandma, and I've heard the stories about your grandma. Get you and your grandma's life together and get you some deep-fried Oreos from Ray's.

A great old school place! They make the best eggs creams! In a city where everyone used to make one it's hard to find any now, but they're going strong here. Hot dogs and fries are good too! Like a lot of old school NYC places Ray's is cash only, 24 hours a day.
