My review is just based on outdoors appearance and drive accessibility. I arrived for an evening concert that was sold out. That's not a total bad experience because it means in KC has great fans. 😉. But the building is easy to find and close to a cookie m couple of well traveled roads. Maybe next time I'll actually get my tickets online and review the inside. 😉

I love recordBar. I loved the old location a lot. The old location had a nice big parking lot and an easily accessible bar. The new location has a better stage area and a nice upstairs balcony overlooking the stage but there's just street parking and the bar is a little more crowded it seemed. Also, maybe the acoustics aren't as good because my ears were ringing for days after the last show I went to. Bring earplugs. Overall a great venue. They do a good job of booking good acts

I’ve only been once, but I enjoyed this place. I didn’t know what I wanted to drink and the bartender asked me what kind of beer I liked and suggested something. Good place for shows. Not too small nor is it too big. Still intimate and it’s awesome that you can view the shows upstairs. The vinyl record wall is rad too. I’d def go again👌

Very cool little music venue! I love going to shows at little places like this and they get very well reviewed up and coming indie bands. Not currently drinking but the bar looked very well stocked and the staff was friendly. And best of all it was very clean! Had a great time seeing Bully there!

One of my favorite bars for live music in KC. They've really stepped up their game from when the were in Westport a number of years ago! Shows are always GA, so come early if you want to be near the front or don't if you prefer to hang back and chill by one of the tables. The stage is a good 3-4 feet off the ground, so even the short folk should be able to see as long as they aren't directly behind someone. Some shows have the VIP option which lets you hang in a balcony area above and to the left of the stage if you want to avoid the crowd altogether.
