Red Elephant Chocolate

The theme is a red elephant which resembles the spirit animal of this place perfectly. A strong and noble beast that could also be a part of a traveling circus. A circus of delectable food... hahahaha. But I digress from the point the point which was that this place has no elephants but the spirit of one.

Were do I begin with this place. I have been there multiple times and every time the place is empty except for the bored cashier working the front. The chocolate although good is totally overpriced, even with their selling point of it being "hand made" you can get the same quality for half the price ordering from online. The atmosphere feels totally fake and it didn't help that I could hear the owner in the back yelling at someone. Again I wouldn't go there and recommend going anywhere else.

Good place to stop in and purchase some gourmet chocolate confections - matter of fact we found it to be the only place in the city center. They have a very good variety of well decorated and tasty combinations of confections. Typical variety of flavors and nothing really out of the ordinary here but that's comparing them to other chocolatiers I have been to in the past (any city we travel to we always search for the best chocolate confections). The venue has ample seating and high ceilings that allow plenty of natural light into the open space. Makes for a relaxing experience.

Cool flavor, but terrible customer service. The guy at the counter is super pretentious and everything is overpriced. Before I paid told the cashier I'd sign up for the mailing list to get the 10% off (like the sign states). I paid and saw the receipt (no discount or itemization). Feeling ripped off I asked if that was with the discount. He admitted it wasn't and called a manager to fix it. Except the manager didn't. She said by signing up I'd get an email for 10% off my next purchase. And that would be fine if that's what the sign said, but it's not. I won't return because I can get better chocolate for cheaper elsewhere and feel more appreciated while doing so.
