Went there around 12:15pm and got a table immediately. Authentic Chinese food with good prices and good portions. I love the coconut chicken, it tastes special and delicious. The stir fried rice noodles is so yummy and I would definitely order again! The short ribs are a mix of sour and sweet which are also tasty. The service is above the average. The only downside I felt is that our table is too small to fit all dishes and it was not that convenient.
Nice restaurant and a good menu with variety of option. Did not enjoy what we ordered which was crispy beef. Wish we knew it was like orange chicken. But that is our fault. The rice portion are okay. The atmosphere is lovely.
Very mediocre "Shanghainese" food. Definitely seems like a restaurant trying out the new Shanghainese restaurant trend spearheaded by such gems as Little Alley and CheLi but failing because the chef probably isn't from Shanghai. The eel dish that was supposed to be I guess was mostly bean sprouts. The black silk chicken soup was such a tiny portion for $18 it could've fit in a teacup. And they didn't even have the coconut chicken soup that is supposed to be their specialty. Would advise calling ahead if you really want to try it, but honestly this place isn't worth spending money at The overall decor was pretty tacky as well. They have comfy velvet seats that seem difficult to clean / keep sanitized. I would not come here for a nice date, but a coworker lunch would be fine. The server was very attentive and nice, but didn't really seem to know enough about the dishes to offer any recommendations.
My heart melted when I ate this! Their dishes made me so happy because of how delicious they were! I loved the options from different meats to veggies and more. I ordered delivery 2 from dim sum and 1 entree because I was craving comfort food. I’ll need to come back and dine in soon! Side note, the delivery man was adorable! He’s so nice!
No complaints about the food and nothing outstanding about it either. Definitely had better chinese food in neighborhood. We ordered their chicken soup dumplings, crispy diced chicken szechuan style, walnut shrimp and green beans. They can do better in the serving department, took too long to bring us entree.
Got the double cooked pork belly. The food quality was very good for the main pork belly dish! However the wonton soup meat tasted like plastic and expired meat…. Other than that I would suggest a egg drop soup option for the restaurant to consider.
Great spot for lunch and big portions! I ordered a simple fried rice with scallion and it was delicious and very filling. However, it could use a little less oil as it was a bit greasy.
Absolutely wild experience. The food was good, as it was my first time trying dumplings I have nothing to compare it to; however, the service was an absolute train wreck. Upon leaving a lady I'm assuming she's the manager based on previous comments came to us and demanded we put a tip. She started lecturing us and arguing us that we needed to put a tip since we had sat inside. The whole situation was inappropriate considering tipping is not compulsory and the service was only adequate. When we did leave a tip on the table, she acted disgusted by how much we had left. Overall, would not be going back, would not recommend, and will be calling my mom to describe the train wreck that took place.
Yummy Chinese Food for the whole family to enjoy. Big Family style portions so order accordingly.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: NoTakeout: Yes
This small, decent place has a great menu and recipes as well as an attentive and kind staff; but the preparations were a bit lazy, lacking flavor. The fish stir-fry was wonderfully cooked but lacked something in the spices department; the eggplant, by contrast, had a delicious sauce but was rubbery in consistency. I would go again if convenient—not a lot of good similar places to choose from in the area—but would not make it a destination
