One of my favorite places to eat for lunch. They have an above average menu and a pretty clean in store presentation for plating. The service is normally pretty decent although not exceptional all the time. They offer a buffet by the pound during the weekdays which is always pretty cool. I rarely have time to stay seeing as I go here during my lunch break. Pro tip! BRING CASH!
Went with a friend got charged way too much given one plate to only have their staff stand next to our table rushing us asking if we were done making the experience extremely uncomfortable we never returned so now we go to buffets in Queens where we’re treated like paying customers should be with respect and dignity. BEWARE
I walked in on the fly because I noticed the $6.99 buffet sign in the window. As I sat down I'm told there is no buffet. So reluctantly I reviewed the menu and noticed that there was nothing less than $11.95. Already dissapointed and paying twice what I had expected to, I thought It a safe bet to order sessame chicken w/ white rice. I WAS WRONG. What was placed infront of me was sweet and sour checken mixed with sessame seeds. When I called them out on it they did nothing. So to summerize fasle advertising, over priced, horrible service, and worst Chinese food in NY.
I lived in NY for 37 years and nothing beats the food. That being said, I moved to Florida 4 years ago for work and haven't been back until last week. We went in for Thanksgiving work, and decided we would do take out for dinner. This place was amazing. Food is always what I expected.....New York food is the best. The staff was super friendly, the prices were not anything crazy, and the food was ready within 10 minutes. We brought it back to the hotel and ate all of it. I don't know how food is where you are, but they always bury it in rice. Not here. They gave so much chicken and pork on top of the rice, I was very satisfied. Highly recommended.
The food is good, the chicken fried rice is very good. I recommend this place.
food yummy I heard they moved to 48th west 48th street lol.
Really loved their beef noodle soup. It's great to have some authentic Asian cuisine here in New York. A must try if you like Asian cuisine :
It has the best beef chow fun in the area. The rest of the menu leaves a lot to be desired. The buffet is standard Americanized affair.
Beautiful setting... Allows me have quick buffet during my lunch break time. Then the offer dinner sit and order Szechuan style food, I love to eat here.!!!
Meal was nice and cost effective. Many local workers of all employments utilizing the Takeaway and dine in facilities.
