Red Rock Brewing Co.

The beers are pretty good and they have a wide selection. Our waiter was attentive and patient helping us select different drinks and meals. The food was ok but nobody was really impressed. Basically it was just bar food that was pretty good. We expected more. The hostess was not very accommodating and made us wait for our whole group of 6 to arrive before seating us, despite the bar being less than half busy the entire night. Overall enjoyable but a little short of our expectations.

The hostess was an extremely unpleasant person but that has been my experience with DT Red Rock thus far. Our waiter was great, he checked on us multiple times. We were told that our favorite beer which is served at Fashion Place, "Honey Wheat Ale," is not served downtown because it's "boring," (can't help but giggle at that). Also, my New York steak salad was missing cheese and all salads seemed to have no dressing such that we had to request sides. There was some kind of conference on this day and Red Rock was struggling to stay ahead or even keep up with the influx of diners. I frequent the Fashion Place location and have always had great service and food there. If you can, go to Fashion Place instead!

I've heard of Red Rock for a long time, just never made it to eat there. The food was good, although I would suggest skipping the flat iron steak and just go for the NY strip. For $4 more dollars you get a much bigger cut of meat. The wait was approx. 30 mins on a Saturday evening, so take that into consideration. The amount of Red Rock beers on tap was awesome! And, the prices were competitive. The wait staff was nice and attentive even though they were super busy. All in all, it was worth the trip and the wait. Enjoy!

The couple of times I've been I've had a very good experience. Their appetizer platters are really good, I enjoy the Red Rock burger and the staff is always great. Apart from the great food I also enjoy the Red Rock beer selection they have. I highly recommend this place for casual lunches, business lunches, and/or fun nights out on the weekend.

I heard about Red Rock through a coworker. A group of 3, including myself, were craving for some food, and decided to go to Red Rock. We just arrived to SLC by noon, and ended up going there. The service was great, the ambient was really good. We ordered several appetizers to try different things. Jeez! Everything was absolutely delicious!!! We had a few beers as well. This would definitely be a place that I will stop by if I go back to SLC in the future. 100% recommended.
