State Liquor Store Salt Lake

There are always stinky, dirty people hanging outside of an in here. The staff is super nice so 5 stars for their patience... but yeah. I don't like being hit up for change every time I enter the parking lot.

This place needs a better parking lot. It's a mad house anytime past 5pm. The help from employees inside is good. The state just needs to stop controlling this so much.

You feel like you're buying beer in a soviet breadline circa 1953 Moscow. Bare shelves, high prices, lots of security, and nervous customers. It's a liquor store without a fridge inside of it. Says it all. But they have a government monopoly so this review is purely for my own entertainment.

They have great service and selection but should probably update their hours on Google. They open at 11am not 8am... which I had to find out the hard way when I showed up at 10.

I hate going to this liquor store! Homeless drunks abound, but where else can you go downtown except for the store on 3rd E and 3rd S... where a fifth is minimum $25 and the selection is nill! I only give it 2 stars because of the staff who seems to be bearing with you!
