Redneck Island

This place looked awesome and my kids were so excited to go, but the lady there was rude as soon as we entered. When she saw my husband which was black her attitude changed. we over looked the attitude and still tried to pay and enjoy ourselves despite the stares. Once we got the other staff member to the window they told us another price after calling and asking these questions before driving for an hour , we were informed that i never called them cause they wouldn't have told me that price mind you i talked to the lady and manger first, when i tried to explain my self as my father was going to pay anyway she than starting yelling at me and was being very disrespectful the whole time we were there instead of begin professional and telling us that is was just a misunderstanding. we would have stayed and spent the 150 dollars to enjoy the day but instead was told to leave because there was no way she, the manger or the website gave us the wrong information in the first place. i normally don't jump to the fact that people are prejudice and that the reason for their attitude but today made it very clear that some people really need to grow up and even if they don't like things be professional at the least.

Went again this year and it was more fun than the last time I went. Will definitely be back! Thanks for the fun time.

Love this place been taking the whole family every summer for the last three years. Lots of fun and great exercise. We love the new spot at beech lake. The whole staff is friendly and value everyones safety. Thanks for such a great summer fun spot. Its well worth the money and a small price to pay to have fun with the fam and beat the summer heat.

some of the staff was very rude to us. the slides were really sticky and left burn marks on each of us when we went down them. we rented a paddle boat for an hour and came back 15 minutes early with it but the staff LIED about us being on it for too long to another staff member. we put our stuff in a locker for the staff to only touch our personal belongings and sprawl it out on the benches. i brought a water bottle and one girl made me pour it out after i asked if i could go back and put it back in my car. needs to staff before i would consider coming back.
