Lake Winnepesaukah Amusement Park

Classic Americana. The Cannon Ball is regarded as one of the best wooden roller coasters in the world. It was designed by one of the greatest coaster designers ever, John Allen of the Philadelphia Toboggan Company. Allen also designed the Great American Scream Machine at Six Flags Over Georgia. Speaking of 6 Flags, if you have the choice, go to Lake Winnie. Now offering season passes.

This is absolutely the cleanest amusement park I have ever been to. All of the rides cater to a variety of ages. We lost and then found our keys, and the staff went above and beyond trying to help us find them. The picnic area is wonderful. I recommend packing your own lunches in a cooler - the staff lets you bring all of your own food and beverages in, and then they will monitor your food for you. WILL GO AGAIN!!!

My daughters got to go on a school trip as a reward for earning 100 A.R. points. Aside from the heat which I know they cannot control, it was severely understaffed and poorly prepared. We were told there were 3-5 thousand in attendance today, yet they only had one concession stand open. We stood in a line that never moved for 30 minutes trying to get something to drink, only to eventually just give up because the line was wrapping around a building and not moving at all.There was no drinks in the vending machines either. I arrived an hour before my children on the school bus so that I could pay my admission and get in before they came through the group line, but I stood in a line for an hour that, once again, was not moving. All school groups made it through the line before I got into the park. Today was horrible. I have been in the past with my family and it was a much more pleasant experience. They are just a small park that, in my opinion, do not have the qualified management or adequate staff to accommodate crowds of today's numbers. I felt really sorry for any child whose reward for hard earned work was this experience today. It was a joke.

We could enjoy our time. No long lines. Pleasant staff. Love the history of this place and the antique carousal with handcrafted horses from 1916. Kudos to Devin on the big kids swing ride for most cheers and name chanting. Many thanks to the little kids ride to ariyanna. Vickie. Kaitlyn. And I'm not sure of the other ladies name. My little one loved the rides especially the little swings. Wacky house guy let us run into the cart in front of us. Roller coaster broke down before we could ride. Loved the bumper cars... Best ones ever

Great place for family and younger kids, not too big so it's easy to get around. We were here on a field trip, the pavilions are close to the gate, so we didn't have to tote our stuff too far. Everyone had a good time!
