Quality Inn & Suites West Waterpark

BED BUGS to STAINED SHEETS! My family booked 3 rooms here for a weekend getaway. The only okay feature about the hotel was some of the staff. And the water park. The tunnel slide had a stretched strip of caution tape across it saying it was under construction. No explanation for this and kids were still able to use it. I was in a double queen bed room where we woke at 3:15am feeling itchy and as if something was on us. We got up to look at the bed and saw two bed bugs when we flipped a pillow. We caught one under a cup. We then flipped the covers back on the second bed and saw bed bugs around the kids. We grabbed the phone to call the front desk and it had no cord so we walked there where the night desk lady wouldn’t come look, but said she’d take the room off and put us in another room. It was late so we went with this. In the second room the mattress and linen were stained. We spread the kids on a blanket from the car and we sat up the rest of the morning. We put the heat all the way to 90 and it never warmed up. The next morning we complained and were assured the money would be back on the card in an hour for all three rooms. We left to travel home. Found out the next day they charged us for FOUR rooms. The original ones and the one they moved us to. Then acted like they were unaware of the issue. We have pics and videos of the bugs in the bed as well as trash bags in the halls and around the building with mold and more. PLEASE do not take your family here!

Pros: Good breakfast. Front desk staff helpful. Pool area was very nice. Located near a lot of restaurants. Cons: Air conditioning broken in several rooms. Television was broken. Hallways very humid from pool area. Bathroom door and floors were dirty. Room was missing smoke detector.

Great staff! There was a lady named Jennifer working front desk in the morning when we woke up. Apparently the breakfast staff didn’t show up for work so Jennifer was running the front desk with phone calls and checkouts plus getting the breakfast ready and prepping the pool opening. And it was her second day! I hope whoever her manager is reads this and gives her some recognition and help! She was fabulous. -People From Indiana :)

Loved staying here. Stay was very polite and welcoming. Breakfast was wonderful and room was clean. Best part is the water park and pool area! Will be staying here again.

We had a great time. No problem with this hotel. The employ did good job. Housekeeping did great job cleaning the room. The front desk is so awsome very friendly and helpful. Hope to see yall again. Thank you and God bless you.☺
